We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming home. Peaceful, beautifully maintained, and perfectly located for exploring the Loire Valley. Every detail was thoughtfully considered—from the comfortable beds to the well-equipped kitchen and lovely outdoor space. Davy was warm, responsive, and made us feel incredibly welcome. Our only regret was not staying longer. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing escape in France!

Davy was a wonderful host and we really enoyed the property. Very quiet, but only a few minutes drive from the small village. Only thing I would change is installing some screens on the downstairs bedroom and bathroom window so there can be ventilation without bugs.

Comfortable and peaceful

This is a simple but very pleasant place to stay. The property retains its traditional charm but not at the expense of practicality - the bathrooms have been completely modernised, the kitchen has new appliances and all the windows are double- glazed and secure . We particularly loved the ‘natural’ garden which is utterly peaceful and has plentiful garden furniture for eating outdoors, relaxing in the sun or reading in the shade of a tree. The kitchen was fine for us but would be on the small side for cooking family meals. The host Davy was extremely helpful and let us check in early. One warning, read Davy’s instructions about how to locate the property carefully. Like many before us we got led astray by Google and got hopelessly lost with no phone signal to help us find the house.

Beautiful House!

We were a bit lost trying to get to the house and meet the host. Google maps is limited. You will need to get the coordinates from the host and plug those into Google Maps. Once we found Davy everything went smoothly. Place is well appointed and clean. The spiral staircase to the 2nd floor is a bit small but in proportion to the house. Large beautiful yard. There is a a very good restaurant and patisserie nearby. Would definitely stay there again!

Très bon séjour conforme à nos attentes

Très bon séjour tel qu'on l'attendait, au calme, proche de la forêt animée par les chevreuils et les lièvres, à 20 min à pied des 32ha de l'étang de Beaumont. Les prestations sont conformes aux engagements et à nos attentes. Proche malgré tout des commerces et avec un excellent restaurant à Montrieux. Je recommande fortement.

Grands-parents accompagnés par 3 de leurs petits-enfants nous venons de passer un moment très agréable dans la maison de Davy dont l'accueil et la disponibilité ont été particulièrement soignés. Tout est prévu pour notre confort, le linge de maison, de toilettes, etc..la maison se trouvant en lisière de forêt nous avons eu la chance de croiser lapins sangliers et de nombreux chevreuils ! Étant tout proche nous avons visité les châteaux de Cheverny et Chambord et tout celà sous un magnifique soleil ! Surtout ne pas hésiter à réserver ! MERCI

Jolie petite maison au milieu de la forêt. On apprécie le calme. Jardin paisible et très agréable. En plein cœur de la Sologne, à moins de 45 min de nombreux châteaux de la Loire. Maison adaptée à une famille avec des enfants de plus de 6 ans (escalier et mezzanine). Cuisine un peu petite mais suffisante pour les vacances. Ne pas oublier l anti moustique. Nous avons apprécié le calme du gîte et sa décoration mêlant moderne et ancien. Il est vraiment bien équipé malgré une petite cuisine qui reste très fonctionnelle. Le jardin est agréable notamment pour un petit repas au coucher du soleil. La boule à facettes a plu aux ados. Les propriétaires sont discrets et très arrangeants sur les horaires de départ et d'arrivée. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour au calme.

Davy le propriétaire est un hôte idéal. Disponible, il répond à toutes les questions dans un délai court. Le logement est propre, au calme, très fonctionnel. Une chambre en rez-de-chaussée équipée pour un couple avec enfant en bas âge, la partie du haut est plutôt destinée à des jeunes (4 lits 1 place, escalier un peu étroit). Je recommande vivement cette location !

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en famille dans cette ravissante maison. La maison est propre et confortable. Décorée simplement et avec goût. Elle est surtout située à l’orée d’un bois où l’on peut croiser biches et chevreuils matin et soir, ce qui est un vrai plaisir. Proche du château de Chambord qui permet une visite facile. Juste un peu trop éloignée des commerces. Accueil très sympathique. Nous recommandons !

Maison adorable et agreable à vivre. Tres bien située par rapport aux châteaux de la Loire, elle est cependant au calme. Avec un peu de chance vous verrez la biche et ses deux petits venir manger des pommes tombées du pommier ou apercevait un lièvre dans le chemin. L accueil de Davy et de sa petite "assistante" est nickel. Nous recommandons chaudement cette location !

Nous avons passé un super séjour reposant avec un très bel accueil et un super logement fonctionnel et joliment décoré. Le propriétaire a été disponible et prêt à nous conseiller sur les activités aux alentours. La maison contient tout ce dont on a besoin avec de petites attentions plaisantes dans un joli cadre. Parfait pour des vacances paisibles pour se détendre.
