The room was was clean, very new and fresh. The common area had fun games and a shuffle board table that we got a kick out of. (It does need to be leveled though...). The small town of Rockport was just out the door. There is a beautiful community park next to the hotel with a small kid's play area and pond and made for a relaxing walk.
Our room was right next to the street/sidewalk so we couldn't open the shades in the morning. It needed blackout curtains to block the street lights, and sheer privacy curtains to let the sunlight in with privacy. (Hotel style.) Although I like the convenience of keyless entry and text comms, we never saw any staff. It seemed a little cold never seeing anyone.

The location, deck, and apartment with separate sleeping areas
I think the description should indicate that the second sleeping area is a loft and that both bathrooms are in the first floor. Navigating spiral staircase for a middle of the night bathroom trip is not easy for a lot of people.
