Second time visitors to this property - still a great place! Quiet, well-equipped, plenty of space. The hot tub saw a lot of use. Watching the birds at the feeder every morning was a delight. Highly recommend if you are seeking a place in the coastal woods rather than the on the beach. Would definitely return!

Fins and Feathers is very well decorated and is in a great location for bird watchers. There were a few issues which made the stay less than perfect. The kitchen is a bit of a jumble with the utensils and pots and pans thrown haphazardly into the drawers and cabinets. The pans are warped and scratched and making scrambled eggs was a challenge. The utensils next to the stovetop were melted and discolored. The cabinets were full of nice wine glasses, but covered in fingerprints and old drip marks. This may be due to the dishwasher which seemed to be not working properly. Even with the dry cycle on the dishes were wet afterwards. The two sets of towels in the master bath were covered in lint and were slick and unusable. Maybe they were washed with one of the bed blankets and a generous amount of Downy. We ended up using the towels from the hallway bath which were fine. These problems are most likely due to housekeeping and if addressed would make this a five star property.
