In the heart of nature between the Cadre Noir and Saumur! 4

I stayed at this property for 4 days while visiting the Loire Valley. Due to my lifelong love of horses, it particularly attractive to me, and I wasn't disappointed. The apartment is an efficiency very modern and well decorated, with all necessary "live in" conveniences, including a small patio. It is well furnished and well maintained. The beds are extremely comfortable and I slept well.The lovely view of wildflowers and woodland outside was peaceful and relaxing. The farm property is large and the buildings are set well back from the small farm road at the front. Therefore, it is amazingly quiet. I love animals of all types and enjoyed watching rabbits, birds, and lizards right outside my door. Contentment magnified! Alain met me on my arrival, showed me the features of the apartment, and invited me to visit the stable, meet the horses, and watch the high level dressage riding. To my amazement, when I took him up on this, he took the time to explain the movements he was doing, furthering my education in dressage. Jorg was away the first day, but sought me out the next day to make certain I was enjoying my stay. We had a number of pleasant conversations. Both men were immediately available if I needed anything, but the apartment was so well prepared that wasn't necessary. As an elderly woman traveling alone, everything about this rental fit my needs perfectly. It definitely felt like "home away from home". If ever in this area again, I will look forward to revisiting.

Un cadre immense,nous avons visité et approché les chevaux,nous avons assistés à leur préparation le matin, pour les sortir de leurs boxes. Leur prise en charge est faite de manière très douce par des personnes qui les aiment. Des explications nous ont été donnés suite a nos questions. La présence des poules,des chèvres,des chiens, tout ça font bon ménage.Super Le logement très agréable. Mr et Mme Jörge très sympathiques. Nous sommes enchantés de notre petit séjour. Excellent séjour dans ce gîte en pleine nature et pourtant si proche de Saumur, idéalement situé pour partir à la découverte des merveilles de cette belle région. Villages de charmes, belles demeures, châteaux, bois, vignes sans oublier la Loire qui s'écoule, paisible. Gîte sobrement équipé et décoré, propre et confortable. Literie de bonne qualité pour un sommeil récupérateur. Propriétaires accueillants et discrets, vigilants sur la propreté des abords et donc aucune nuisance à craindre quant aux petits et grands compagnons à 2 ailes ou 4 pattes qui évoluent librement dans la propriété.

Nous avons passé un séjour formidable au Domaine de la Chênaie. Le logement est très agréable, très propre et parfaitement agencé. L’accueil de propriétaires est excellent et la proximité avec les chevaux et les animaux hébergés au domaine est vraiment agréable.
