The location was handy.

Very inflexible hostess. She didn’t make us feel welcome at all. We had a bedroom and access to a narrow balcony. No garden. Franco led us to the bedroom and just closed the door. We felt like we were intruding. We had our own teabags but she refused us even boiling water after our long drive. We've stayed in over 27 places on our trip and this place is poorest bar one. Would not even give us boiling water at breakfast. Said she wasn't a hotel and gave us luke warm tap water. But her coffee was not good and we preferred our own instant coffee. Breakfast was a small amount of cake. No water or refill. Be aware there is a large dog here.

My host was pleasant and helpful. The view was amazing. Comfortable and clean. Bus close.

The home and grounds were wonderful. Way up with a panoramic view of the valley. I travel by public transportation, and although the bus comes not too frequently (and I knew this beforehand) there is a stop 300-400 meters away. I liked that it was not "in town" but yet up in the old city. The people were very nice there and the city itself is exceptional. The host was very nice too.

Breakfast was very lite especially the first morning. On the next 2 mornings, she made a homemade fruit yogurt that was nice. And, of course coffee. And even though the view was fantastic and their was a balcony, it was not really set up for sitting and enjoying. One thing I get a lot though, hosts sometimes don't understand that guests use buses. If it were me, I would give exact instruction of which number bus to take to get to the home.

L'empatia e la genuinitá della Sig.ra Franca, un valore aggiunto! Consigliata a chi ama gli animali Il simpaticissimo cane Argo vi accoglierá scodinzolando. La struttura dista 20 minuti a piedi dal centro di Assisi per cui si puo lasciare l'auto tranquillamente fuori la struttura. Degno di nota la torta alle mele che la Sig.ra Franca offre a colazione. Ritorneremo.

Assisi a piedi

Posizione davvero ottimale per chi vuole raggiungere Assisi senza usare l'auto e pagare soste nei vari parcheggi fuori le mura. Il parcheggio pubblico della scuola è vicino al B&B. L'abitazione di Franca, dove siamo stati ospitati nella stanza messa a disposizione con bagno privato, è a circa 15 min a piedi dalla porta Nuova, che è la più vicina a Santa Chiara. La signora Franca è stata cordiale e ci ha dato due ottimi consigli su dove cenare, in quanto in camera, giustamente, non è previsto consumare cibi. Nei pressi dell'abitazione c'è anche un supermarket (Tigre) La signora ci ha messo a disposizione un utilissimo ventilatore che con il gran caldo di questi giorni, si è reso necessario Nei nostri 2 gg ci ha fatto compagnia anche il cagnolone Argo, che nonostante di grossa taglia si è dimostrato buono e affabile.
