Location was great, right next to the train station and the Botanic gardens. Let us check in an hour early so we didn’t need to sit in the broiling sun. Washing machine was great as the weather was so hot we needed to wash our clothes.

There were a few things that let it down for us: - The bathroom needs a really good scrub to get rid of the black mould around the toilet, shower and inside washing machine. - It was 42 degrees while we were in Nantes yet there was only one fan left for our use. It was really dirty so I had to clean it before using. Also it had a timer on it so I was up a number of times during the night to turn it back on. - The bathroom door handle needs fixing as it is loose. The left hand section of the shower attachment falls off - I had asked for the sofa bed to be made up but it wasn’t and the sheets I found in the cupboard weren’t great. The pillows smelt strongly of stale cigarette smoke. - The sofa bed is also broken, it is comfortable to sleep on however the section to pull it open has separated from the spring. -The door key is slightly twisted so it got stuck in the lock- we kept the key in the fridge to make it easier to use. - It would be good to have the lock instructions in English as it was difficult to put the PDF into google translate.

The apartment is spacious and conveniently located in a calm neighborhood not far from the tram. The beds are quite comfortable. The apartment is fairly quiet. The host is responsive. The price is fair.

The apartment was not very clean. The baby chair that the host proved could not be used because it was missing parts. We had to buy our own sponges and dishwashing detergent to clean our dishes because the old sponges were in very bad shape and the detergent was almost empty on arrival. There was no washing machine detergent. The kitchen is not very well equipped for cooking. The internet was often quite slow.
