Everything,it’s absolutely stunning in every way.

Nothing to dislike,only issues were taxis were very expensive which obviously not the owners fault.

Very peaceful location, the quietness was deafening 😀 exactly how we wanted Christmas to be. Lovely cottage with plenty of character. Perfectly equipped for any stay, bed was super comfy.

A very cute, comfortable thatched cottage in a lovely location perfect for two!

Thoroughly enjoyed our few days in this quintessential and very cute thatched cottage in a lovely location handy to local village, good pubs and Dorset attractions. The wee cottage is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for two plus our dogs, who loved the garden. The wifi was great, a spacious garden (it’s a very comfortable distance from the cabin on the shared driveway). The bed is really comfy, the heating and wood burner kept us cosy.

Lovely rural location yet close enough to visit all the Dorset has to offer

Sweet thatched cottage with a lovely surrounding garden, we really enjoyed our stay. The weather was hot and sunny so we were able to make the most of the garden and enjoyed the big loungers on the lawn and meals on the patio. Discovered some interesting and fun things to visit locally and went on several wonderful walks along the coast. Excellent location away from the hussle and bussle of the very busy coastal villages.

The adjacent lodge was closer than expected just by the entrance gate but lukily those guests were quiet so it wasn't a problem. The waterproof mattress protector on the bed was uncomfortable and we got very hot in the night and the little fridge seemed to struggle keeping cold but the freezer compartment worked and was a handy backup

Unfortunately, the kitchen was not clean. It looked like someone was half way through cleaning and had to leave. We had to clean before we could unpack. It was wasn't a good start to the holiday.

A wonderful fairytale of a cottage feeling so secluded but everything with in reach .spotless .

It is the most amazing cottage .As I had already explained from the moment we seen this wonderful little gem we were wowed by it. There is nothing any one could ever think up they might need it has everything you could ever imagine there . Beautiful rooms .Huge thanks to the cleaners ad this place was outstanding .a great woodburner to fill up and sit back in the cosy lounge and watch blazing .The whole place so we'll heated and warm . Shower was great as warm as you want . Kitchen so well equipped great dishwasher everything washed up sparkling clean and bone dry . They even had a air fryer full working great oven and a slow cooker all at hand for any one who loves cooking .lovely tv large on the wall . And beautiful grounds outside a large drive leading up to this detached beautiful gem .it reminded me of my books ladybird books fairy tales so charming . My fur baby westie loved it so much .the garden all enclosed and secluded totally safe . You hear the horses trotting in the distance .and the Cockerell crowing mornings . The birds around singing .so many lovely places to visit to .I would love to live there so much . Dorset amazing . There is nothing to moan about or fault great break and Thank you again .So for any one reading this please don't scroll off seriously I'm sure you will love this wonderful gem of a cottage just try it .God bless all .

Cute cottage in a beautiful peaceful location. The cottage had everything you needed and a really helpful information folder. The location was beautiful and remote so very peaceful.

Vehicle required location, i.e tank museum visitors. But quaint and quiet place for a holiday

The Dorset countryside is incredibly beautiful. The thatched cottage is 200 years old which is a unique experience. Granted I banged my head on something at least once a day, there are spiders in many areas and I think the mattress had a cover which made us sweaty. The fireplace, logs and blankets makes for charming evenings.

Visitors don't stay here for the tank museum without a vehicle!!! We communicated with the host that we wouldn't have a vehicle and asked how to get around like for food, groceries and to the tank museum. The museum being our reason to be there. They said to take a taxi. They failed to mention the minimum fare is 25 gbp since all of the taxis come from other villages. And that they have limited availability. This almost ruined the visit entirely. We had to walk from the train station to the cottage for 25 minutes at dusk on the road with luggage. Luckily we were able to rent a car from Dorchester. Transforming our simple countryside stay into a very stressful experience, that I feel could've been prevented with a little more info.

We enjoyed our stay but the lack of efficient heating and heated towel rails was a problem for us.

Well equipped property (apart from heating/towels - see below). Nicely furnished. Bed and bed linen really nice. Cottage was lovely and clean. Sofa and chair comfy. Garden was nicely enclosed and safe for our dog. Nice to have off street parking. Thank you for the milk left in the fridge - very thoughtful. Owners were very helpful and quick to respond when we contacted them.

Unfortunately the cottage was very cold. The wall heaters did not warm up the downstairs nor the bedroom upstairs. We did light the log burner but this did not make a huge difference. The bathroom was extremely cold, although the convector on the wall was used but couldn’t be left on all the time. Our towels never dried out as there is no central heating/radiators nor any heated towel rails. This did not make showering an enjoyable experience. When the house is cold anyway, the towels are never going to dry in the air.

Very pretty cottage, comfortable, tasteful decor. Beautiful garden with comfortable seating. Moreton village is delightful, the walled garden is gorgeous and their cafe does excellent food.

I liked everything about the property. I guess if you were very tall, low ceilings or had difficulty getting up a narrow staircase, it might not be for you, but then it is a lovely one bedroom thatched cottage.

Bathroom - bath 3/4 size with shower screen making it hard to reach control's, also because of screen limited access to bath to which I struggled because of knee replacement hip problems, no grab rails to help. On exit to road, view to the right totally obscured by high grass so very hazardous as you cannot see another car coming down lane

What a perfect little cottage this was. Very secure gates. quiet location beautiful surroundings. The hosts have thought of everything. You need pack only your clothes. Everything was amazing. Very relaxed refreshed happy couple. Just what we needed after a busy year. We will definitely be booking here again. Thank you so much Tracy.

Hidden gem

This is our second visit to this beautiful cottage we booked this time for my husband's 50th birthday 🎂 with our two pugs and it was so cosy and peacefu snuggling by the fire 🔥 and we had beautiful day trips visiting near by coves wonderful sea walks and pub lunches i have no hesitation at all to recommend this cottage its perfect so clean and everything you need is provided there bed is super comfortable like sleeping on a cloud

Lovely stay in a lovely location even in November

Excellent location, Picture book Dorset cottage with everything you need for a couple with a dog. Dog loved the garden, partner was over the moon having a dish washer, bed was excellent (though we were very tired by the end of each day) Log burner lovely plenty of hot water, easy to find. Remote but not really. Got to say Dorset is very under rated, an hours drive for us! Vac and cleaning gear on hand so no excuse to leave it dirty Highly rated by us

I was very happy so will only add missus missed a coffee table for her chocolate, First gate a little fiddly as latch twisted slightly (easy once you get the hang) and watch your head ..............These are not negatives as very happy with our stay
