The location is great, walking distance to Waikīkī and Alamoana. Also, the view from living room was so nice. The facility is relatively old but very clean and neat.
The owner was very reliable and responsive.
The reason that I rated 8 was, 1: water supply problem on the day of arrival( it was unexpected public water issue) and 2: the aircon filter change was taken place in the morning of departure without any advance notice.
The announcement was posted on the wall of the elevator but as I’m a foreigner, I didn’t pay any attention on that. We encountered that two engineers were doing filter work in our room when we came back from breakfast.

Tolle Unterkunft im 42. Stock mit einem traumhaftem Blick auf Waikiki und zum Meer. Durch die großen Spiegel wirkt die Wohnung noch größer und sehr hell. Küchenausstattung gut inkl. Kaffeemaschine. Waschmaschine und Trockner funktionieren problemlos. Man ist schnell zu Fuß direkt in Waikiki und läuft ca. 1 km zum Strand. Kleiner Supermarkt in der Lobby und direkt um die Ecke. Gegenüber vom Haus ist ein Markt mit vielen Foodtrucks. Da hat jeder von uns etwas leckeres gefunden.
Parken kann man für 45 $ (nur Barzahlung) pro 24 Stunden im öffentlichen Parkhaus direkt neben dem Gebäude (ohne Reservierung, wir haben jedoch immer problemlos einen Platz bekommen).
Vermieterin hat bei Fragen sofort reagiert.
Die drei Expressaufzüge in die oberen Stockwerke waren schnell und zuverlässig. Pool und BBQ-Area im Freien im 5. Stock (auf dem Parkhaus).

The elevators were horrible. One of the 3 was out of commission. The other two did not consistently stop on the floors for which the buttons were pushed. Twice, we feared we were going to be stuck in the elevator. We were on the 24th floor so stairs were not an option.

The bathrooms were very dated.
In fact one shower was unusable. The apartment in general is in need of a refurbishment.
