About this cabin rental
A gorgeous cabin located on the property of the Lazy G Wedding Chapel and Cabin Rental venue. The property is a 1200 acre farm with two caves, a covered bridge, lodge, outdoor fire place (communal), and patio area. Cabin #8 (Duplex) has two queen beds. The cabin is one open room with the bathroom separating the two sleeping areas. Cabin #7 is adjacent to cabin #8 & share a front and back porch. A creek runs behind the cabins. All rooms have a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. Charcoal grill is provided. Charcoal not provided.
Directions:
Once on Greenbriar Cove Road follow the scenic route down a mountain. Once to the bottom of the mountain proceed with caution as there are two white dogs that love laying in the road. Proceed past the green shop on your left and around the curve.
You will see a white wedding chapel sign on your right and the Lazy G rock entrance on your left. Turn left, and follow this scenic drive approximately 1.5 miles to the back of the property. You will pass Courteney’s Cave and the Buffalo Rock on your left.
Continue straight, you will then pass Long Neck cabin on your right, Wilson cabin on your left, and the covered bridge on your right.
Cabin 3 “Creek Side” is on the right immediately past the covered bridge. Followed by cabin 4 “Creeks Edge” and the duplex cabins 5&6/7&8. Just past the duplex cabins you will see the little red school house.
**If you rented cabin 9 “the butternut” you will take a right just before the red school house and follow that drive past the sawmill, caretakers facilities and barn. Your cabin is on the hill on the left. **
Otherwise, continue straight past the red school house and barn with the fire truck. Drive onto the concrete, past the garage with the gulf sign, past the office, up the hill to the lodge. The Bridal (#2) and Honeymoon (#1) Suites are on the left side of the lodge. Park anywhere near the old cabin on the left. Then follow the concrete walkway behind the outdoor fireplace past the fountain and up the stairs, just past the pavilion go up onto the deck to your right. The Bridal suite is on the left and the Honeymoon suite on the right. The two are separated by an 8” wall. Enjoy your stay.

I would want to stay here even if we moved to the surrounding area. It’s just peaceful and clean. It took my breath away the first morning when I opened my window and saw all the horses directly behind my cabin running around. Then I laughed watched the pig run by! The dogs were friendly towards my big dog. Melinda was kind and easy to work with when we extended our stay.

I can't rave enough about it. The place was like a paradise for me, my wife, and granddaughters. We only saw 3 cars there the whole time, though the place could hold 12 full cabins and hundreds of guests. So we had the place to ourselves mostly.
Our girls loved taking photos at the church, waterfall, schoolhouse, the two caves, old store, etc. It was so very cool. We loved having the creek right off our porch, and the cows coming down to drink. So picturesque.
This location would be amazing for a small biz retreat or family reunion. I'm so glad we found it, and our cottage was one of the smaller ones, but just right for us and our budget. And a great location.
Location was very convenient to get to RocketCenter and Huntsville in 30 minutes or less.

We had a wonderful, relaxing time at the Lazy G. The views are beautiful and the surroundings so peaceful. We saw bay goats, horses, and miniature horses.
We privately renewed our vows in the wonderful chapel. Hosts were easily assessable and gracious.
