The hotel is beautifully restored and appointed with private parking. The courtyard has a lovely pool. Our room was blissfully cool in this heatwave and all amenities were high quality especially the toiletries. The bed was very comfortable. Nadia and Michel-Henri were the most generous hosts and made us feel very welcome. I would urge anyone to book the table d’hotes if available as it made our stay feel more like a stay with friends than a hotel stopover. The wine tasting which is included in your stay was informative and enjoyable. Le Charles V is a product of love and hard work and it shines through everywhere. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

Our hosts were wonderful including a delicious table d’hote meal shared with them. It’s a beautiful conversion of an old building and it’s very comfortable. The location is great - short walk from some gorgeous restaurants and right in the heart of wine making country. Come here for peace and to learn more about wine.
