About this apartment rental
Hey! We’re so glad you’re here! We invite you to unwind in our high-quality vacation rental, “Torbogenhuus No. 5”!
Located right next to the dunes on the beautiful Nordstrand, this newly renovated vacation rental is on the 1st floor of a charming, historic arch-roofed house.
Modern furnishings meet a cozy atmosphere in this 75-square-meter space. Numerous skylights and a unique triangular window ensure maximum natural light. After a long walk on the beach, the built-in gas fireplace especially invites you to spend the evening with a book and a wool blanket in the wingback chair. Of course, thanks to the spacious corner leather sofa and large smart TV, nothing stands in the way of movie nights via TV, Netflix, and other streaming services. With Wi-Fi, you can also enjoy fast internet access around the clock.
We offer plenty of sleeping accommodations: A large bedroom with a double bed and its own smart TV (Netflix and other streaming services available), a bedroom with two movable single beds, and a multifunctional sofa bed with a fully integrated double bed frame promise restful nights. There’s easily enough room here for six adults. Of course, plenty of blankets, pillows, and fresh linens are provided.
Do you have children? Family-friendliness is important to us! That’s why, in addition to a stair gate, we’ve also provided a TÜV-certified high chair that can be easily converted into a children’s chair and table at any time.
The highlight of the modern bathroom—in addition to the integrated floor heating found throughout the entire apartment—is the shower’s waterfall feature. A private washer and dryer are also available for your use. We provide at least two towels for each guest.
Do you enjoy cooking? No problem! The fully equipped kitchen has all the amenities you could wish for. In addition to a coffee maker, kettle, toaster, and microwave, there’s also a four-burner stove and an oven. And since no one should really have to do dishes on vacation, let the dishwasher do the work for you.
The apartment’s location is also a highlight: In addition to being right on the beach, “Bäckerei Bethke” is just a 250-meter walk away. It’s just as close to “Kurts Fahrradshop,” where you can rent bicycles, e-bikes, and more for your day trip. Speaking of which: We highly recommend a bike tour through the nature reserve in the western part of the island, which you can reach directly from the apartment. Or would you rather head into the city? Then you can either walk there in 15–20 minutes or take the bus from the “Rheinstraße/Birkenweg” (130 m) or “Nordhelmstraße” (250 m) stops.
The best is saved for last: In just 2 minutes, you can walk from the apartment’s private garden to the fine sandy beach. You can’t get much closer to the beach than this!
If you’re not in the mood for the beach or would like to wind down the evening outdoors, a separate terrace with seating is available exclusively for you as our guests. The apartment also features a small balcony, in case you just want to step outside for some fresh air.

Fewo im ersten Stock eines Mehrparteienhauses unter der Dachschräge, enge recht steile Treppe nach oben mit Kinderschutzgitter, kein Pkw-Stellplatz, Fahrzeug muß ca. 500m entfernt auf einen kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz.

Die Wohnung hat eine tolle Lage in Strandnähe. Mit dem Rad ist auch das Zentrum der Insel in wenigen Minuten erreichbar.
Die Größe der Wohnung ist für vier Personen optimal.
