Nothing not to like

Very well equipped house, it's much bigger than it looks and the garden is a fantastic bonus. Very convenient with the Co-op next door. Living room very comfortable, and garden room is a sunny haven.
There was a lot of lorry noise in the mornings. This was the only negative really, as the house is in a lovely position, very convenient. Recycling lorries also a little bit noisy.

Clean, spacious, had everything we needed. Right next to a coop and some great pubs in walking distance
Nothing to note

The house is like the tardis .It is so much bigger and nicer than the photos ,they really don’t do it justice. The kitchen is well stocked with more than basics. There was a lovely welcome pack and milk in the fridge. The house was lovely and warm and we lit the wood burner every night(3 nights). We were expecting to have the
1st nights wood supplied but not extra in the out building. Fantastic place. And we loved the village
My only niggle and it’s only my pet hate was the kitchen drawers had crumbs in most of them. I hate that in my own house but at least they’re my crumbs and not somebody else’s! But honestly there were so many positives It certainly would not stop me booking this property again and again

Beautiful house, lovely welcome pack, great area. Garden was wonderful, and house v comfortably furnished.
Kitchen utensils a little limited, eg not many pans.

The location, in Middleton-in-Teesdale, is right in the centre of the village, very near the Co-op. The downside of that is the delivery truck every morning about 8am. Large enclosed, grassed garden at rear, perfect for dog. Wood-burning stove in sitting room.
Comfort of single bed.

Lovely village with plenty of amenities. House was extremely well equipped and had lots of character, retained all the feature fireplaces ,tiles etc. lots of nice touches such as welcome box. Everything was good quality. Nice space outside for the dog to run about too.
Parking was a juggling act at times. Water could have been hotter.

This house was in a beautiful location. It provided everything you could need for a wonderful vacation. The house had loads of room and provided so many extras from a towel and bowls for the dog, every piece of kitchen equipment you could ever wish for, loads of games and books, logs for the fire, I could go on and on. The quality of all the fixtures and fittings was excellent. We had a lovely 3 generational stay with a dog and everyone was catered for and had a wonderful time.

Loads of space, we'll furnished and comfortable with plenty of room to spread out in the main lounge. The kitchen was well equipped and the conservatory gave us extra room to watch TV. The village is beautiful with lots if cafes, pubs and the coop next door is really handy. We ate at both pubs and the fish and chip shop, all excellent meals. Barnard Castle is close by and a lovely day our. We will definitely be back.
We weren't able to park the car at the property. There appeared to be a problem with dead wasps on the first landing but these were easily vacuumed up.
