Antamoma Suites

L’appartement est très joli, proche d’une plage à 7 min à pied. Facile à trouver. Le lit est très confortable et c’est très spacieux. Il est à côté d’un restaurant et d’une supérette.

Le plaid qui été disponible pour les nuits plus fraîches ne sentait pas très bon.

Cottage houses are very close to each other, so on balcony there is no privacy. It would be great if they had some salt, coffee, olive oil and bigger knife.

A bit pricy for the lack of kettle and space in the kitchen, the kitchen is not very practical. Some noises because of neighbours and road just next to entrance (we had number 8). Very low wifi too

The location is excellent, set in the beautiful region of Panagia Kanala, which is both convenient and charming. The house features a lovely outdoor area that becomes especially enjoyable in the late afternoon, when the light softens and the sunset creates a truly relaxing atmosphere. It’s an ideal spot to unwind and take in the surroundings.

Our overall experience with Antamoma was disappointing, especially considering the rate of €150 per night. Below are the main issues we faced during our stay: Cleanliness: The room was superficially tidy but not truly clean. For example, the shower drain was clogged with hair, causing water to pool at our feet, and more hairs were visible throughout the room — clear signs that no proper vacuuming had been done. To make matters worse, cigarette butts were left in the ashtray when we arrived. For any accommodation, and particularly at this price point, cleanliness is absolutely non-negotiable. Wi-Fi: Although the network was visible, there was no internet access. When I contacted the manager, I was instructed to try fixing the router myself, which is not the responsibility of a guest. Even after doing so, the Wi-Fi remained unusable for the entire stay. Noise: The partition walls were extremely thin (gypsum board without proper insulation), making it possible to hear even the smallest sounds from neighboring rooms, such as plugging in a charger. This made it difficult to relax or rest. Staff behavior: Staff members (either cleaners or managers — it was never made clear, as they did not communicate with us at all) frequently walked up and down the rooms and passed through our front yard without acknowledging us. A simple greeting or some basic courtesy would have gone a long way in making guests feel welcome. In summary, hygiene, respect, and proper craftsmanship are essential for any place that welcomes guests from around the world. Running a guesthouse is not a side project but a full-time commitment, requiring care, attention, and professionalism. As a Greek, I find it frustrating to see overpriced stays justified by cutting corners, as this only diminishes the hospitality standards we are known for. With more care to cleanliness, communication, and guest comfort, Antamoma could truly become a place worth recommending. Respect your guests!
