About this house rental
A cosy holiday home for seven people in Male Svatonovice, near the Giant Mountains. An ideal starting point for hiking, cycling, cross-country skiing and skiing. From here you probably have the best view in the village. The village itself has a direct train connection to Prague. You enter the house through the hall, where you can leave your skis and coats. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor. One bedroom has a double bed of 140 x 200 cm, from here you also have access to the terrace. The other bedroom has three single beds, 90 x 200 cm. There are also two children's beds. All bedding is provided, including flannels, tea towels, towels, bedding etc.. So you don't need to bring anything with you. There is also a games room on the ground floor with table football, darts and other games. On the first floor, there is also a toilet, a new kitchen with dining area, pantries, fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle and almost everything you can think of. Through the hall, on the first floor, you enter the living room, from where you have a beautiful view. There is a wood-burning stove in the living room. The wood is available for free. There is also a TV, wireless internet, CD and DVD player. From here you enter a bedroom with a double bed, 140 x 200 cm. On this floor there is also a renovated bathroom with toilet and two sinks.
At the bottom of the village, near the access road, is a cosy restaurant. Here you can eat and drink on the day of arrival. The drink of choice in the Czech Republic is Becherovka. Male Svatonovice is a small place of pilgrimage. There is a spring with healing water in the centre of the village. People come from far and wide to fill their jerry cans with the free water. You can buy groceries in the village. Larger purchases can be made in Upice, about four kilometres away, and Trutnov, about 14 km away. There are many old towns and villages in the area. Nearby is Adrespach. It is a beautiful natural park where you can hike among ancient stones and menhirs. Hiking maps are available in the house.
The house stands on a plot of about 5000 m² and is fully fenced. Upstairs in the garden is a sitting area. In the garden there are fruit trees from which you can pick fruit. There is a terrace with garden furniture near the bedroom. There is also a barbecue and an outdoor shower. As the house is on a hill at the edge of the village, it has a long driveway. You can drive up in 1st gear. Unfortunately, if it has rained or snowed, you cannot drive up. You can then park your car at the bottom and have to walk up. This is about 50 metres. There is parking for three cars at the top. Unfortunately, the house is not suitable for wheelchair users.
