Your beach house is located approximately 7 miles north of the Surf City high rise bridge and 4.5 miles south of the North Topsail Beach high rise bridge. Be sure to visit some local attractions such as the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Hospital and the Missiles and More Museum, which tells the story of our island’s past.

Nice location. Short easy beach walk. Worked well for our multigenerational family. Couldn't use the outside shower though because there is a bird's nest with eggs right on the water handle.

Six friends and I left our kids at home for a long weekend and came to North Topsail Beach for a much-needed respite after a year of pandemic parenting! The house was just perfect for us. From the front of the house, we could see the ocean and the sunrise. The back had amazing sunset views of the sound. The walk to the beach was minutes and the beach itself was oh-so-lovely. The house had everything we needed and was updated and clean. Our only minor snag was that the elevator had been switched to "off" and was locked, so we could not use it upon arrival, but Ward Realty was extremely responsive and had maintenance come out first thing Saturday morning to solve the problem.
Based on our collective experience as parents vacationing with kids, we think this house would be great for elementary-aged kids and older or babies. Toddlers would be fine, but space for running around is a little limited and the yard is not fenced.
Regarding groceries, we had been told that we should shop before arriving, but Surf CIty and Snead's Ferry have grocery shopping within 15 minutes. We loved shopping further down Topsail Island and in Surf City. We found several great restaurants (Beach Shop and Grill and JM's on the Water) and great breakfast/coffee (Something Prune Donuts, Daily Grind Coffee).
Overall, a great property and the perfect weekend away!
