Sports and active holidays: cycling, swimming (in the North Sea or in the seawater swimming pool), surfing, inline skating, Nordic walking, fishing, golf, minigolf, horse riding, hang-gliding. Leisure activities and highlights: - Nordstrander Music Days in May, July and August - Nordstrander Skater Days - Nordstrander Hiking Days - Horse and cart ride through the Wadden Sea landscape to Hallig Südfall. - Carriage ride across our Wadden Sea (semi-)island of Nordstrand. - Excursions with the Adler ships from Nordstrand to Amrum, Sylt and the Halligen. - Mudflat walks - sightseeing flights over the North Sea and its Hallig world. - Excursions to Husum, Seebüll, Friedrichstadt, Tönnig or to Denmark: The best way to get here by car is to take the A23 motorway, which becomes the B5 at Heide.
