About this farm stay rental

ED Refnr. 2762571

Charming agriturismo with a shared pool, a small chapel and panoramic views

The old, completely renovated, 17th-century villa of this agriturismo is located on the rolling, green hills of Pesaro, amidst olive groves, fields, pine forests, oaks and laurels, and affords a beautiful view of the magnificent surroundings.

On the site, apart from the main building, there is an annex and even a small chapel. A particularly attractive feature for holiday-makers is the pool, which even has a small hydro-massage area and several sun loungers and lounge furniture on the surrounding lawn.

What were once the hay barn, the stables, the tower and the residential house of the farm were converted into cosy holiday apartments in 2009, where you can spend a relaxing nature or beach holiday. Guests feel very much at home due to the original architectural features, with exposed ceiling beams, floors with clay tiles, and uneven walls.

The town of Pesaro is about 2.5km away, and the sea is only around 7km away. The agriturismo therefore enables you to combine a seaside holiday with a cultural holiday, owing to its proximity to places of cultural and historical interest, such as Urbino, Gradara, Fano or San Leo.

The owners will welcome you very cordially and will be happy to provide you with advice and information about the area.

Inside the charming Pignocco Country House, an 18th-century farmhouse that has been finely restored and converted into non-hotel accommodation, a unique and cosy two-room apartment awaits you. Located in the hills, just 5 km from the centre of Pesaro and the sea, it is the ideal choice for those wishing to experience a relaxing holiday amidst nature, culture and enchanting views.

Outdoor Spaces
Guests can enjoy a large garden with pines, cypresses, laurels and wild vegetation. There is a table and chairs for outdoor dining, a summer swimming pool surrounded by a centuries-old olive grove with deckchairs and sunbeds, a barbecue and relaxation areas.

The two-room apartment
The flat, located on the first floor of the farmhouse, consists of two main rooms and is tastefully furnished, retaining some original details.

In the first room there is a majestic blue wrought-iron bed, two metres wide, accompanied by two red velvet armchairs ideal for relaxing or reading. The same room also houses a complete and functional kitchen, perfect for preparing lunches and dinners independently, as well as an antique inlaid dining table and a refined Empire-style console.

A built-in wardrobe conceals an evocative secret passage leading to the second room, which is a real master bedroom, illuminated by a large French window. Making the room even more unique is a chandelier decorated with small green and gold leaves, suspended from an original beam of the farmhouse.

The windows offer enchanting views of the garden, the private church, the surrounding countryside and, on the horizon, the city of Pesaro and the sea.

Thanks to its ample space, composition and the presence of two bathrooms, the two-room apartment is particularly suitable for families. It also has air conditioning, independent heating and free Wi-Fi.

An authentic stay
The history of the farmhouse, bought by our grandfather in 1952 and carefully restored by our father, makes every room special. Many pieces of furniture have been recovered and restored by us, others made to measure by local craftsmen.
