The accommodation was modern, private and had a nice outlook

There was very little space in the apartment, luggage had to go on the floor and there was no clothes storage area. There was no table and chairs unless you brought them in from outside, otherwise you ate on the bed. Wood stove was not cleaned on arrival, fire starter was there but no kindling. The pre-arrival automated text providing information on chalet and entry did not work and when contacted the office implied that it was our fault. Arrival information promoted visitors to see the animal feeding but when office was texted about feeding times it was ignored until late the next day. The system seemed to provide for no human contact between the office and the visitor but this did not work well for us. The pre-rental brochure and the cost indicated that this was high end accommodation and this did not live up to that.

Unique location

Huts were quite close to others and when we visited we could hear a couple having an argument. Room was quite minimalist too which is fine.

We really were looking forward to some absolute peace and quiet. Unfortunately this was not the case for us. From about 8pm - 1am there were consistent barking of dogs. This was non-stop. Not sure if it was from neighbouring properties? I understand this might be out of the owners control, but our stay was definitely not as “serene” as we expected or described on the webpage. When eventually the dogs stopped - it was absolutely stunning to have the serene quietness around us. The big windows unfortunately do not have curtains or blinds that cover the whole window, so the lights from neighbours were streaming through. In a separate note might be beneficial to have some soft lighting instead of the harsh bright lights in the room.
