About this apartment rental
Island Paradise Cottages, centrally located in Madeira Beach inside a quiet and secure neighborhood, and just off the main road. The cottages are just a 5 minute walk over to the very best beaches that the Gulf of Mexico has to offer, and you are in very easy walking distance of Johns Pass Village, with many excellent restaurants, activities, and attractions. Access to the bay for paddle boarding and kayaking is just a short walk away through the neighborhood, and you can catch the beach trolley nearby if you need to get a little further away.
Our little piece of paradise is perfectly setup for vacationing and relaxing with lush landscaping, an island style tiki hut for socializing and BBQ grilling, a beautiful heated pool, as well as a full inventory of bikes, kayaks, paddle-boards and games exclusively for our Guests' use.
This 2nd floor unit (stairs required), affectionately known as "Skyview Villa" offers:
-- Private Top Floor Walkaround Balcony area Overlooking the Courtyard and Pool
-- Master Bedroom with King Size Bed
-- Second Bedroom with Twin Bunk Beds
-- Central Bathroom with Tub/Shower Combo
-- Spacious living room and dining area.
-- Fully equipped kitchen for just about any type of meal preparation. All Stainless Appliances, including a dishwasher!
-- Free High-Speed WI-FI, Free Cable TV, Free Assigned Parking
-- Year round heated pool with beautiful patio area
-- Thatched Tiki Style picnic area with propane BBQ Grills and plenty of seating
-- On-site Coin operated Washers and Dryers for laundry

Walking distance to the beach. The other units were not in service as getting renovated due to hurricane damage so we got the pool to ourselves. The unit was clean and comfortable!

Great location where you can walk to beach, Caddy’s, John’s Pass. We had a great time and our 5 year old loved the heated pool! The unit we stayed in is small but we only have a family of 3. Having access to the garage full of beach stuff, toys, etc. was convenient. Bring quarters if you want to do laundry. Only drawbacks are that the kitchen was sparsely appointed and windows don’t have screens so hard to keep windows open during cool nights without bugs coming inside. Would be nice to have recycling provided as well. We had a great time!

Clean. Responsive. Well appointed. Close to everything. Only gripe is re check in. Traveling from out of state and we arrived earlier than anticipated. Despite the unit being cleaned and empty, we weren’t permitted to check in much earlier. Would’ve paid extra $$ for the ability to do so.

I can't give an honest review of this property because we didn't get to stay here! We arrived in FL to find someone in our rental. Reviewing our email for check in, we received an email, NOT a call telling us we were moved. I work on a computer all day, I don't check emails often, so this was very disappointing! Our daughter is interested in a school in the area and we were looking for a quiet place to stay for this trip and future trips. We were moved to a large condo complex on a very busy road, NOT what we were looking for! The condo we were moved to was beautiful with beach views, that we appreciated. Overall, with a significant change in location and rental type, it would have been nice to get a call to discuss this in person.
