Timber River Guest House offers gorgeous views of the Kootenai River and the surrounding mountains, plus all the amenities of an upscale hotel, but with more flexibility. Our family friendly accommodations offer three deluxe bedrooms and two bathrooms, which easily sleeps six. For an additional fee, we also offer an additional queen Murphy bed for a maximum occupancy of 8 persons. So whether you are looking for a romantic get-a-way for two, a friends trip or a family vacation, we have something to fit your needs.

This property is not a shared space, although there is a shared main entrance to the owner's second home. During the fall 2026 and winter 2027 the owner's will be on-site for maintenance purposes and a construction project on a separate structure on the premises. .

Guest accommodations include a fully stocked kitchen, laundry facilities, and a game room with a 65" TV (Dish Network), Starlink WiFi, pool table, and a large variety of cards and board games. Additionally, guest have access to a riverside gas grill and fire pit.

Located just 6.5 miles from Libby, Timber River Guest House is centrally located so you can easily enjoy tours and activities at the Libby Dam, disc golf, fly fishing, floating the river, hiking and biking, plus all the amenities and restaurants that Libby has to offer. Floating or kayaking from Timber River to town takes about 2 hours and is a guest favorite, as is eagle watching from our patio. Kootenai Falls and the Swinging Bridge are a short drive away, while golf and downhill/cross country skiing are seasonally available.
