Our family of six were absolutely thrilled with our stay at Oh Deer cabin. We kept saying how lucky we felt to be in such a dreamy location in a home that felt so perfect. Everything was as described in the listing, but the photos don’t do justice to the wonderful surroundings, both inside and out! The cabin is decorated so cute and we loved seeing all the detail that went into the home. There was plenty of linens, towels, soap, and laundry detergent. The beds and couches were comfortable. Check-in was a breeze and it was easy to find the cabin. It’s a remote location, but the nearby town of Troy had everything we needed, including a well-stocked grocery store, gas stations, and even a bowling alley. Our family LOVED the beautiful kitchen that had everything we needed to make meals each day. We enjoyed the outdoor seating and loved relaxing to the sounds of the river. It was paradise. We saw deer every day!The owners were responsive and attentive, and each request or question was met with a gracious response. We are all wondering how soon we can make it back to stay again! Can’t wait to make our way back to Montana and Oh Deer cabin!

The Oh Deer! Retreat was nothing short of magical!!! This beautifully decorated country cabin nestled above the Yaak River makes you feel warm, welcome, and right at home. There is plenty of space (inside and out) for the whole family to relax, connect, and reset. The back deck and upper balcony boasts gorgeous views of the Yaak River. A charming little trail accompanies you along your walk down to the riverbank. My kids thoroughly enjoyed swimming, fishing, and playing in the Yaak River. There are two hammocks near the riverbank for you to lie back and soak up all the sounds of the river and the beautiful song birds. Plenty of trees to hang additional hammocks, if needed.*We brought hammocks for our kids to enjoy and hung them closer to the cabin.* The cabin also offers a full kitchen with all the cookware and a large chef's stove for preparing home-cooked meals. The queen bed located upstairs is a trundle, with an additional bed below. You could sleep 6 people comfortably in the upstairs loft, if needed. There is also a balcony off the loft with two chair-hammocks. Perfect for a great read, sipping tea, or birdwatching! Our family made good use of the firepit, too! S'mores and smiles night after night! We also saw a number of deer on the property throughout our stay.---I'm telling you....MAGIC!!! If you love the mountains and outdoors, this is the place to be! My only complaint is we should have stayed longer! The kids are already asking when we will be going back to the cabin. Oh Deer! Guess, we'll be booking again! :)

We had a wonderful time at this cabin with family. It’s is welcoming and thoughtful designed and decorated. It has everything you would need for a mountain stay. The house comes well equipped and perfectly set to enjoy the beautiful views and highlights of the area.
