Breakfast was excellent, with new choices each morning. The host hung around and chatted to us, which was nice, but it would have been good also to have some quiet time alone. Parking was very safe and secure but a bit tricky getting in and out of the gated compound.

L’hôte est très disponible, à l’écoute et sympathique. Nos petits chiens ont été acceptés sans supplément, ce qui est très appréciable. La maison est magnifique, grande et fonctionnelle, avec tout l’équipement nécessaire. La situation géographique est idéale, proche des lieux touristiques et de l’autoroute. Le véhicule peut être stationné en toute sécurité devant la maison, et un parking est également accessible à 50 m.
Excellent petit-déjeuner, copieux et varié, avec des produits de grande qualité et de délicieuses viennoiseries.
Nous y retournerons très volontiers.

Overall L’Escale was very comfortable. It was very clean and organized. It is well-situated in a small village with easy access to Bo the autoroute and the Forest of Fontainebleau. The hostess was exceptional and very acccomodating; she took the time to connect with us as people. Excellent breakfast!
