Gîte piscine & panorama

Karine, Jacques and Etienne were all really lovely and very helpful. They went out of their way to welcome us into their lives and the local area. The property itself was perfect with comfy beds all round, all the appliances that you need to make life easy and the fantastic pool with its great view we used every day. The surrounding area is typically Gascon and quiet. Very relaxing for anybody escaping the rat race. We had a fantastic day and would recommend.

We have just had a fabulous week in Gers. The view from the property is absolutely stunning, the pool was great and we were in it every day. Karine and Jaques were the nicest hosts we have ever met, Karine arranged a private tour of the vineyard she works at and then recommended we have lunch at the monastery in Saint Mont, lovely day! They made sure we had everything we needed .Just one small point from the English VRBO , they have translated that it is a 5 min walk to Lavardens, but it’s actually a 5 minute drive. Not a big deal as there are lovely walks around the countryside. We loved meeting the 2 donkeys on the grounds and gave them carrots every day! Thank you Karine and Jaques.

C'était un de nos meilleurs séjours en France. Le gite est spacieux, bien située et propre. Il se trouve dans un paysage sublime et reposant. La vue, les environs et la piscine sont tous comme décrit dans les détailles indiques dans la site VRBO. Nos hôtes sont charmants et attentifs. Tres gentilles. Karine s’y connait en vins (c'est sa profession) et nous a gentiment accompagnés dans un vignoble local. La region offre de nombreux bons restaurants et est proche des commerce locaux (epicerie, boulangerie, boucherie). This spacious, clean, and beautifully renovated stable / barn is extremely comfortable. The VRBO photos are accurate. The views of the incredibly beautiful countryside are visible throughout the residence. It is filled with light. The two floors are generously designed. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern, while the other furnishings are comfortable, with country-style flourishes. Karine and Jacques are attentive, kind and generous hosts. Jacques’ renovation work (he carefully reconstructed the stable / barn) is apparent. It is solar powered with in-house wood heating. He also knows all the best markets and places to eat in the region (!) Karine is a professional at a local vineyard. She was a wonderful host. She accompanied us to an affiliated vineyard and provided a knowledgable wine tour of the chateau and grounds (on her personal time). Her kindness was very much appreciated. Highly recommended.

Les points forts : le confort des chambres, l’ équipement du gîte, la vue splendide sur la campagne gersoise , le calme, la gentillesse des hôtes très réactifs en cas de problème.
