Embarben is a Provencal kiss. Do not come if you want corporate and fake. Embarben and Martin and the family welcome you with warmth and sincerity. If you do not know the area, advice is freely offered and should be valued. Claude offers great classic simple (as it should be) local produce, cooked well, delicious and filling (read the availability details). The house is a beautiful step back in time, in a good way, it is authentic, and it announces that you are here, in Provence, to relax and enjoy. The pool and the additional facilities are all good. In summer, the cigales are in full harmony and the toads debate till the late hours: superb to sit in under the trees through late hours listening. Would we come back again? In a heartbeat!! This is a classic house/home, there are stairs and steps like so many old such properties throughout Europe. Think ahead about suitcase transport. Embarben does have AC, and there are USB A bedside outlets. Read the full descriptions and you will not be dissappointed, only informed and ready to explore the whole area. So many good restaurants within 15 minutes drive, when Claude is not cooking, Miramas-le-Vieux, Cornillon-Confoux, and St.Chamas itself. Immerse yourself, and you will not want to return to 'your normal' lives.

La gentillesse des hôtes et le lieu atypique

Tout était parfait

Une très belle demeure du 18 eme pour les amoureux de la pierre. Un accueil chaleureux, des propriétaires tout à fait charmant avec une réelle disponibilité. Au petit soin. Un emplacement parfait, à 10mn du marché de Saint Chamas et de l'étang de Berre. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables.
