HiHome Hostel Uría

The location was great and it is overall a lovely, homely hostel. The lounge is very nice and there is a well equipped kitchen with tea etc. The room was basic but comfortable and clean.

Not possible to leave any luggage before check-in time. The staff member was not very interested or overly helpful. The bunkbeds were a little small and flimsy - like children's bunkbeds. There are only two bathrooms (1 x toilet/shower in each) for the entire hostel and this became really inconvenient. We waited a long time every day to use them. I wouldn't stay in this hostel again for this reason. Maybe you should convert one of the private rooms into another bathroom.

there were quite a lot of rooms there. So a kitchen, and a few bathrooms. All of them were spotless clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was prepared in a way that no interaction needed when coming to the place. My flight was late and a shuttle bus was late as well, so I checked in at around 4 in the morning. No problem whatoever. everything was unlocking with just a tap of the phone.

Everything was decent. I have no negative comments

The property was in a great location with good access to bus/train station and a short walk to old town. I liked that the bathrooms were actual bathrooms and not just a cubicle shower. However they needed way more

The images online are definitely NOT what the place looks like. The only image that reflects is the kitchen but even then it’s tiny hardly enough space for more than 2 people. All images of bunk/dorms rooms show much nicer bunks but none of them are like that only terrible bunks. It’s very weird coming into a place where no one greets but the automatic/app entry was handy except for the room because going bathroom meant you had to take your phone with to get back into the room. There are only 2 bathrooms for dorms and private rooms which is absolutely not good enough. The place is not very clean. Also they lock the toilet paper?!? What? If it’s your only option it would be fine for a very short stay, however would not really recommend.
