About this house rental
Greet each day with inspiring views of the Annisquam River from this charming vacation home and enjoy the most spectacular sunsets each evening. Terra Nova offers that "get away from it all" feeling, with a large verdant lawn, breathtaking water views, and comfortable furnishings. Inside, find an open-concept living and dining area with enormous picture windows letting in the light, along with two main-floor bedrooms, a full bath and kitchen. Downstairs, a large open-plan suite makes up the garden level.
For those who prefer the outdoors, relax on the wraparound deck, take a swim, or launch a kayak into the river at high tide. You can also easily explore many of the local shops and restaurants that the area has to offer. The historic village of Annisquam is about a mile away, while Downtown Gloucester is four miles in one direction, and Rockport and Bearskin Neck and the Shalin Liu Performance Center are just five miles in the other direction.
MAIN FLOOR
Living/Dining Room: A sun-drenched room with oversized windows, the space contains a flat screen TV, comfortable seating, and a dining table for six. There are also sliders out to the wraparound deck.
Kitchen: An updated and well-equipped galley kitchen, with stainless appliances.
Full Bathroom 1: The glass walk-in shower has a fold-down seat for convenience and comfort.
Bedroom 1: Master bedroom with a King bed.
Bedroom 2: Contains a Full bed.
GARDEN LEVEL
Bedroom 3: This room contains a Full bed and a daybed/sofa that can be made up as a Single.
Full Bathroom 2: Contains a stand-up shower.
Laundry: There is a utility room with a washer and dryer.
EXTERIOR The deck overlooks a spacious yard that slopes down to the river, where you can look for shells at low tide and swim at higher tides. There are also a gas grill, outdoor seating, and outdoor dining sets on the deck and on the patio.
PARKING There is parking for 2 cars.
