We’ve stayed at this particular house very often in the last 20 years, but during this trip, we were happy to enjoy many of the new upgrades, including honeycomb blinds for the bedrooms; functional central air AND several separately controllable AC units; a modern fridge and laundry machines.This is a very cozy place, and the beach access cannot be beaten. Great for families - except possibly folks that are less mobile. Plenty of amenities, including two kayaks, lots of beach chairs and towels, and a great outdoor eating spot. Whether you want an active vacation or a relaxing one, this house is really sweet.

Stayed while in town how a hockey tournament. Place was very clean and in a great area of town.

My wife and I enjoyed our week with our four young adult children. The house is well kept but in need of a furnishing makeover. It was hard to gather as a family in any one room. The air conditioning is via a few window units, so some bedrooms are very warm if it’s hot outside. The house is situated 50 feet from busy Washington St, and traffic noise is constant. But the house is also situated on a large property that allows access to the water and some beautiful views via a short walk. The house has character.

I would definitely book again. The property was beautiful a short walk to the beach. It was a short drive.to Rockport, Downtown Gloucester Ipswich definitely would recommend going to the castle on crane state beautiful grounds and afterwards Ipswich brewery the house was comfy, cozy and it had everything we needed. Definitely love to visit again looking forward to it. Thanks again, Mark.
