Natural creative space, host is friendly & helpful with suggesting places of interest to visit and places to eat. The room was spacious & the home is well situated for easy access to surrounding villages of interest. Enjoyed the home made scones.

The room is part of the hosts’s home so any movement is via the host’s personal space. Although Frederick appeared ok with this, we find this situation awkward as we feel we are impinging on the host’s privacy.

We loved the unique vibe of the house. It is charming, artistic - and most of all - interesting. Not just a bed, but a whole cultural experience.

Our stay was too short! We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the surroundings and take a ceramics class from the host who is a very accomplished and recognised artist.

Maison de caractère. Well renovated farmhouse near the river, big comfortable rooms. Cool for a laid back couple without kids.

Not to come with children or in a large group - you cannot hang out in the living area, which was surprising and sad. Maybe some organisation in the Ad/photos could help avoid the 10% problems the host says he has - I am not here to tell each little misunderstanding we had, some were also our fault. This review aims at avoiding that other large groups with kids have a disappointing stay and wishing the host can get better ratings - if he reviews somethings and wishes that hospitality becomes his business - as this place could be great.
