Clockhouse Cottage

Очень приятный и приветливый хозяин, ознакомил с домиком (65 кв.м), посоветовал куда можно сходить и что посмотреть. Хороший дизайн дома. Есть сауна и патио .

Нам как сеньорам не понравилась атмосфера в домике - очень тяжёлый воздух от нечищенного камина и отсутствия функции открывания окон, спать с включённым кондиционером для нас не безопасно, открывать входные двери для вентиляции помещения на ночь или устраивать сквозняк тоже не выход. Сбили с толку фото спальни, выложенные на сайте, подумали, что их две - нужно было нам внимательнее читать описание домика. Хозяин любезно приготовил второе спальное место под потолком, отдельное ему спасибо. Наш совет - уборку нужно производить тщательнее: много пыли на светильниках и полках, тем более, что её оплачивают клиенты…не помешали бы прикроватные светильники…

Очень эстетично, аккуратно, со вкусом все подобрано и сделано очень качественно.

То что близко у дороги и маленький телевизор, но это не категорично.

Amazing holiday house in Saulkrasti. It is very old but beautifully renovated house. There is everything you need, also sauna and nice outside patio. Beds are comfortable and surrounding is pease and calm, good to sleep. The owner is friendly and willing guy with perfect english. It is very close to the beach…about 200 m through the pine forest. We can definitely reccomend it.

The indoor sauna, the tranquility and the outside terrace seating were the best features of this property.

Firstly, the booking.com site shows pictures of both rentals- the Cottage and the Garage- on the same site. This is confusing. We were not able to differentiate which unit had what which led to disappointment for us. The bed was not particularly comfortable and pillow too thin or too thick; tap water was quite smelly (in spite of owner’s recognition two years ago in “comments” that filtration was needed; no toilet paper holder in the very tiny bathroom (accessible through the kitchen; washing machine disfunctional because cupboard door blocked the soap dispenser unit; minimal kitchen equipment (4 each of utensils, no brush or cloth to wash dishes, no paper towels or scissors); no privacy screen on the shower unit. What to do if travelling with family? Lock on front door was very finicky- had to use brute force to lock or unlock. Backdoor was stuck and opened only using force. These problems could be life threatening in event of fire. No bedside lamps and a pot light in bedroom was dangling down. No comfortable chairs. The only place to sit was on the bed or 4 small hard stools in the cramped kitchen area Because we were here during good weather we made good use of the private outdoor seating area.
