Never had such a short interaction with a host or receptionist.

Conveniently located for our trip. Good beds.

On arrival a lady pointed out our room and told us that we had to move our car to another place on the public road. No welcome. No info. Never seen any staff again. In the morning we left without seeing anyone to go and have breakfast somewhere en route.

A lovely stay in a quintessential burgundy farmhouse.

Located in the beautiful Burgundy countryside, La Grange was a proper working French farm. Beautiful weather. Easy to chat to other guests and make friends.

The room was very basic, but we expected that.

Relaxing and enjoyable

Lovely farm setting providing a tasty evening meal (if booked in advance) with groups horse riding from the farm. Very helpfull host and delighfull room. Nice walks around the farm and surrounding woodland. Would happily return

beautiful location in the middle of a nature reserve and vast forests the place is very pretty and well looked after we had a very good meal with local wine at an extremely reasonable price

The place is a gem. Would love to stop again.

This place was amazing. Being a farm, I was expecting a shabby little bedroom, but was pleasantly surprised to have nice big room with a bathroom. It obviously isn't 4 star, and not immaculate, but generally very clean and tidy. The place is s quiet. It was really nice to sit outside with a beer in the evening. The owner was friendly and spoke good English. Paid just £56 UK for two people, but would have paid more.

The place is really great. Would love to stop again. Not a problem, but the Sat-Nav took us up the steep muddy track to the farm, but there is a proper smooth road at the top. Worth looking into this.

if you are in any doubt of whether you will be outside the check-in times (incl. early), do not book this accommodation. we were shouted at for being late (they wouldn’t let us arrive early and wait in the garden). so much so that my daughter was crying and I had to console her to sleep. it was a return stay as we loved the first time. so just a warning, they are not very flexible/accommodating.

Great for people who are happy to leave the city and modern civilization behind

The location is so remote and so immersed in the heart of Burgundy, it feels like all the day-to-day hassle of the modern man simply evaporates. The friendly dogs, the gentle giant attitude of the horses that you are allowed to pet (or even ride), the proximity of the forest, all make for a vey pleasant stay.

Only two things: - they could only provide two twin beds placed one next to the other and the gap between the 2 mattresses was quite large. It might seem like an insignificant detail but it can actually create quite a hassle if you travel with your partner - The breakfast, although rich in quantity & included in the price, din not have the flavor of local, home made fresheness as one could expect from such a place

Absolutely lovely!

We had a fabulous stay at La Grange! The hosts were extremely kind and welcoming, we had great company and food on the 2 nights we had dinner and the location of the farm is lovely. As other reviews mentioned it is a bit remote and as we blindly followed our GPS ended up on a dirt road, but after chatting to Christoph we were informed there is in fact a "normal" road leading to the farm and even gave us a map of the region. Would definitely recommend!

The property is located in a quiet location perfect for relaxing. We stayed only one night and it was perfect. One can order dinner.

Lovely renovated farm

This is a special place. A working farm, about 40 km from Dijon, the owners run a Gîte, offering simple large rooms with good beds, simple breakfast, and delicious homey dinners at a very reasonable rate. The farm is surrounded by beautiful rolling hills in a stunning area of France. It's rare to find a place like this. The owners are friendly and gracious and have created a cozy, comfortable place to stay. You get super value for money. Highlyrecommend.

Beautiful very rural location. We wanted a safe place for our bikes and car and it was very safe. The owner was very accommodating as we arrived very late. The room was comfortable, clean and basic with everything needed.

Les hôtes vous accueillent chaleureusement et avec bcp de bienveillance. Ils prennent le temps d’échanger quand on les croise ou au moment des repas. La cuisine, faite maison est excellente. Les lieux sont très propres et la literie confortable. Le dépaysement est total et la ferme au milieu des champs permet de se ressourcer pleinement. On peut y faire de belles rencontres avec des personnes/familles de passage une seule nuit pour couper la route ou des habitués qui restent plus longtemps et reviennent régulièrement. Les langues se mélangent à table en fonction des convives, on parle aussi bien allemand, anglais que français (idéal pour une remise à niveau de son allemand 😉) Nous gardons précieusement cette adresse! Un paradis pour les amoureux des chevaux!

A savoir et cela ne nous a pas dérangé car nous avons opté pour les petits déjeuners et dîners sur place: Il y a peu de restaurants autour et la 1ère grande surface est à 30min, un micro-ondes et frigo communs sont à disposition dans la salle du bas pour manger à midi par ses propres moyens donc tout est prévu 🙂

Even verpozen en warm onthaal in een bosrijke omgeving!

Prachtige locatie, in de volle natuur, zeer bosrijke omgeving. En toch perfect om een nachtje te verblijven als je op doortocht bent. We hadden een ruime kamer met het nodige comfort. De stilte en de rust kreeg je er bovenop!

Een verrassende ervaring in een commune-achtige setting.

Goed, frans ontbijt. Het avondeten was acceptabel.

De ontvangst was verwarrend. Niemand aanwezig voor de kamer. Stuur de gast standaard een bericht wat te doen bij aankomst voor de sleutel van de kamer. De gastheer heeft zich, overigens zonder excuses wel gerehabiliteerd en zich gastvrij opgesteld.
