About this house rental

Historic doctors' villa (>350 m2) in the North German country house style of the turn of the last century.

The property has the characteristic features of a Wilhelminian style house and is furnished with great attention to detail. Luxury furnishings in many rooms with high ceilings, stucco, fireplace/tiled stove, granite floors, large terrace, park-like grounds (approx. 3,800 m2) and much more. Additional beds can be provided if required. A workplace with office chair, printer and monitor is available. Please contact us if you require anything else.

You can reach the North Sea coast in about 15 minutes by car. From there, the East Frisian Islands are easily accessible by ferry (e.g. for day trips).
The "Ewige Meer", the largest upland moor lake in Germany, can be reached in approx. 15 minutes by bike. 3 Dutch bikes, a road bike and a children's bike are available. A bike hire shop is just a few minutes' walk away.

In Norden and Aurich there are good producer markets and other shopping facilities. Basic needs can be easily met directly in the village.

For art lovers we recommend the Kunsthalle Emden, for antique collectors or those interested in nostalgic pieces the "Alte Schmiede" in Aurich-Tannenhausen and for humourists a visit to the Ottohaus in Emden. Children like to go to the MachMitMuseum miraculum in Aurich.

Golf courses in Lütetsburg and Wiesmoor are not far away. The water ski and wakeboard centre in Aurich-Tannenhausen is popular with young and old alike.

Sea enthusiasts will enjoy the seal centre in the National Park House in Norden or on trips to the islands (e.g. Spiekeroog) with the fishing boat (e.g. Gorch Fock).

The Holtriemer Land or the "green pearl in front of the North Sea beach" also impresses with the typical East Frisian landscape, wide green meadows and fields - or you can relax in the comfort of your own garden.

Wir haben mit 10 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern in dem Haus Familienurlaub gemacht. Das komplett ausgestattete Haus und der wunderbare große und urige Garten eigneten sich dafür hervorragend. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war gut. Das Haus liegt zwar an der Straße von Holtriem nach Norden; durch die Lage des Hauses auf dem Grundstück hat der Verkehrslärm aber nicht gestört. Von dem Haus aus können viele Ziele gut mit dem Fahrrad oder dem Auto erreicht werden. Für uns kommt das Haus bei einem evtl. zukünftigen Familienurlaub auf jeden Fall wieder in die engste Wahl.

Im Haus fehlt es an nichts, besonders der große Garten war uns eine Freude. In direkter Nachbarschaft befindet sich eine Windmühle und ein Spielplatz. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche mit der ganzen Familie (11 Personen) hier verbringen können und waren alle sehr begeistert! Ein wunderbarer Garten!! Das Haus ist super ausgestattet und bietet sehr viel Platz sowie einen ganz eigenen Charme! Auch der Standort hat uns sehr gut gefallen.. nicht im Getümmel, welches aber wiederum schnell und gut erreichbar ist mit dem Auto. Auch mit dem Fahrrad lässt sich einiges erkunden! Sehr netter Kontakt zum Vermieter sowie der „Schlüsselverwalterin“! Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen! Tatsächlich vermisst man an den ersten 2 Tagen zwei Sofas… stellt sich aber schnell auf die Gegebenheiten ein!

Die alte Villa hat uns alle - vom Kind bis zu den Erwachsenen - begeistert. Wunderschön und alles andere als gewöhnlich. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war superber und informativ, die Betreuung vor Ort super. Wir haben schon wieder für das nächste Jahr gebucht.
