About this house rental
Located down a long private country road, the Smiling Fox Den is a perfect weekend or week long getaway. This spacious 4 bedroom , 3 bath home can accommodate 8 guests comfortably with 2 living areas and large patio w/large pool for outdoor entertaining or just hanging out. Note that the "jacuzzi" is extra seating and not heated. This home is perfect for a girls/guys retreat, a family get together and small weddings. Located just 5 minutes to downtown La Grange and 15 minutes to enjoy antique shopping.

We booked to stay in the area during the Round Top Antiques market. it was nice to get away from the craziness of Round Top at the end of the day. We enjoyed the layout of the house - there was room for working, dining and relaxing. we also enjoyed all the art pcs around the house - . the bonus were the deer on the lawn in the morning and the longhorns at the end of the driveway. so fun!! Lezlie was super easy to communicate with . we would love to come stay here again.

House was nothing short of amazing.. the property itself is breathtaking , many acres of beautiful grass. Property owners were hands on & very nice !!

Very unique home. We were very comfortable and had a great time. The property is lovely and we enjoyed the pool and pond.

Private setting. Best outfitted home we’ve ever stayed in our 20 years of girl trips. Beds comfortable. Sparkling pool. The only neighbors we saw were deer and long horn cattle. The owner was helpful, prompt with requests, and unobtrusive . This was our second time to stay at the Smiling Fox Den, but it won’t be our last. We are all grateful to have discovered this gem.
