TRENDY VIENNA by JR City Apartments

The flat was spacious, quiet, tidy and clean. It was in a, what I thought, really good location (that is, close to public transport, to various shops, cafés, restaurants, and markets - all in walking distance). I also liked that the kitchen was well-equipped, that the washing machine worked efficiently. I perceived the host as polite and helpful with any questions I had, always reacting swiftly. I appreciated this a lot.

Occasionally, there were slight problems with the shower door. Although the flat was all in all fine for me and is recommendable, it was - from the perspective as a solo traveller - a very low ground-floor flat. Though, I can imagine that this would probably not bother a couple or a small group using it. Especially as the flat itself faced an inner courtyard and not a street.

The location .

Cleanliness must be taken more seriosly . The apartment is a very good one , but not well mantained .

Estaba muy limpio, perfecto para una estancia en Viena. En tranvía o metro a unos 20 min del centro. Muy silencioso y tranquilo. Instrucciones muy detalladas para entrar. Todo estupendo.

La cama del salón no era especialmente cómoda. Le falta algo de vajilla y utensilios de cocina. El primer día nos picaron muchos mosquitos.

Die Wohnung ist recht groß, sehr hohe Räume, ziemlich ruhig, Internet, Herd, Mikrowelle etc. funktionieren prima. Es ist nah zur U-Bahn, die Straßenbahn fährt vor dem Haus, es ist sehr nah zu Hofer und zum Markt.

Teppiche, Vorhänge und Fenster müssten dringend gereinigt werden, Türklinken geputzt werden, den Urinstein in der Toilette habe ich entfernt, aber sie zieht arg schlecht. Es bräuchte einen Haken für ein Handtuch beim WC, eine Ablage im Bad. Der obere Duschkopf müsste entkalkt, die Duschwand repariert werden. Im Kühlschrank fehlen die Halterungen in der Türe, so dass alles herausfällt, wenn man die Tür öffnet. Schließlich sollten im Fernseher Sender eingerichtet werden. Die Wände müssten gestrichen, die finstere Beklebung des schlafzimmerfensters (die den Blick auf den hässlichen Lichthof versperrt) durch eine hellere blickdicht ersetzt werden. Überall sind Heizpanele angebracht, trotzdem ist es auch im August eiskalt. Nicht zu ändern ist die Lage im Haus: Erdgeschoss mit dem Mülleimer des Hauses vor dem Fenster und die nicht so tolle Wohngegend.
