Fantastic stay!

The cottage itself was beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay. We also had fun with the (house) cat(s) — as cat lovers, that made it even more special for us. There’s plenty to explore and enjoy in the surrounding area.

There is actually very little to criticize about the accommodation, but if I may be very critical: - The bed consists of two single mattresses; one large double mattress would be more comfortable. - The lighting next to the bed could be much softer when used as a bedside/night light. - There were some cobwebs on the ceiling near the stairwell. All in all, though, it was fantastic!

Tranquility in Belgian paradise

This renovated house in the Belgian fields is a hidden gem. Super clean and cozy, we loved our stay and already plan to come back. The hosts provide everything for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen and leaving coffee, salt, oil and even eggs and beer. They have carefully decorated every corner and have many beautiful plans. The private garden and the bath also are worth a highlight!

Geweldig huisje, had nog wel langer willen blijven

Het is echt een heerlijk huisje. Prachtig gemaakt met natuurlijke materialen. Heel sfeervol. We boekten 'La Fermette' met sauna, een grote plus. Verder is het heerlijk knus bij kachel, zijn de keukenfaciliteiten top om wat lekkers te maken en konden we zelfs in november nog even buiten genieten van het zonnetje in de eigen tuin. We hebben hier vijf nachten met heel veel plezier doorgebracht.

Vanaf de locatie kun je niet direct veel wandelen in de omgeving in het bos; dat is vrijwel allemaal privéterrein en verboden toegang. Dat was jammer, maar over de openbare weg kun je nog een leuk stukje lopen en in de weidere omgeving is genoeg te doen. Twee kleine puntjes wat betreft het huisje: het matras leek wat doorgelegen en de stoeltjes aan de eettafel zijn aan vervanging toe.

Super verblijf, gunstige locatie, echte rust.

La peter Reuleau was echt super! Een hele rustige omgeving en bijna geen bereik in het huisje(top om te disconnecten van alle afleidingen en echt in het heden te zijn). Supper bedden (het zijn wel twee lossen matrassen dus er zit wel een spleet in het bed, waarbij je net niet recht ligt maar wat meer naar het midden toe. Dit kan vervelend zijn bij rug/nek klachten. Matrassen zijn wel groot, dus als je in het midden ligt heb je en niet zo snel last van). Keuken was voorzien van kruiden, koffiezetapparaat (met koffie), olie, keukengerij, etc. Super fijn dat er zoveel voorzien was. De katten waren ook super lief, heelrijk om in de avond even mee te kroelen.

Toilet stonk wel, we hadden onze eigen spray mee en dat was echt top! Sponsen in de wasbak waren wel al gebruikt (dit vonden we toch wat onhygiënisch). slecht tot geen bereik in het huisje, in de tuin wel.

Rust en comfort

Hele fijne plek, in een rustig dorp, niet ver van de snelweg, maar toch geheel 'buiten'. Het apartement was ruim, zeker voor twee personen. Heerlijk bad en ruime douche. Tegelijkertijd ook knus. Aanrader voor mensen die er even tussenuit willen.

Nous n'avons pas vu les propriétaires mais les échanges écrits ont été rapides, fluides,cordiaux et on les sentait vraiment très accueillant. La transformation de ce corps de ferme en logement touristique est tout simplement incroyable. Amoureux des belles pierres et de matériaux de qualité vous serez forcément sur le charme sans parler des 2 chats adorables ( mais ne veulent pas rentrer dans le gîte ). C'est bien la 1ére fois que nous avons comme chauffage, un feu à pellets et dont nous vous laissons le luxe de choisir la température. Par respect nous n'en avons pas abusé pour autant. Réservez sans hésiter, retour aux sources assurés dans un calme et un cadre verdoyant. Félicitations et bonne continuité à vous tous.

Manque peut-être un micro-onde mais ce n'est qu'un avis personnel et sans doute une raison valable de la part de nos hôtes.

Het was er zalig om te verblijven. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Zalig bed en het groot bad was super! Voor herhaling zeker vatbaar!

Matrassen waren uitstekend maar een twee persoons matras had wel gemogen, we kwamen aan in het donker dus verlichting bij het trapje richting de entree was ook wel wenselijk geweest

Er werd de suggestie gewekt door de foto’s dat er een bad en een sauna was. Dit was niet het geval, geen sauna. Voor mij geen probleem, voor anderen wellicht wel.
