The home has been restored to keep its timeless character while offering modern upgrades such as new kitchen, bath, water filtration and air purification systems. The Avalon house is charming with an old Florida exterior but a completely modern interior. Located on a quiet, Old Florida street, the house convenient to the downtown area and surrounding attractions. The owner was very accessible and very helpful. We loved our stay and would happily re book the property if we were to return to Ft. Myers.The only downside was that the Yankees lost the Spring Training game that we came to see.

Beautiful 1926 restoration. Very Nice host. Loved the house but surrounded by busy, weekend rentals with constant parties and lights streaming into bedroom all night because blinds didn’t cover windows. Master bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable. Poor Water pressure in shower. Without the all night neighborhood partying, and a better mattress, it would have been magical.
