This well-equipped home is located in a lovely neighborhood. We enjoyed the deck, the use of a kayak and also swimming and relaxing by the dock. We cooked several meals and had most everything needed for food prep. The house was in close proximity to the State Park and everywhere else we wanted to go over the weekend. It was our first visit to Smith Mountain Lake, but we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful weeklong stay at this home! We're a family of five with teens and a tween, and the space was perfect for us. The house was clean, well-stocked as described by Casago, and located in a quiet area — most nearby homes were weekend residences, so our Sunday-to-Sunday stay was peaceful and relaxing. We loved being able to rent a boat and keep it at the dock overnight, and we also took the kayaks out for a lap around the cove. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable vacation — just what we were hoping for!

Over the years I’ve heard many people speak positively about Smith Mountain Lake. One of my nephews got married because his parents live here and so I took my son, granddaughters and my son‘s girlfriend to the lake house with me. The house was clean, the towel provisions were amazing! We loved the kayaks for the girls and mine. The stairs were awkward to climb. The ones going upstairs seem to have a lower step and the ones going to the pool table room seem to have a very high step.All appliances worked in the refrigerator had an icemaker that kept putting out. Great.The house was plenty big for the five of us to allow for both a gathering in almost any room or privacy for anybody who wanted itKip and Julia were fabulous to work with. Hopefully we didn’t have too many questions.We were able to enjoy our wedding event just a 15 minute walk away as well as family time in a lovely and fun setting
