The beautiful river and kayaking were definitely the highlight of the place!

Off of the beaten path. It was a nice and relaxing weekend. Very quiet location. The place was clean and very well put together. The cat who prowls the yard was super friendly.

The hosts were incredibly kind and communicative and their place is located on a beautiful piece of property (lovely pond at the doorstep and canal in the back). The property itself, though, was poorly constructed and is not comfortable. I was really looking forward to a soak in that tub, only to find that they had poured sticky sealant all over the botttom. The two tiny towels left for us to bathe with were still damp and wreaked of mildew. Luckily we had some clean beach towels we could use. There was a stain on the comforter, the sheets were scratchy and the pillows were terrible. The kayaks and location may be worth the charge per night to some college kids that will accept subpar quality accommodations, but I would not have paid anything for that stay.
