THE SHEEPFOLD. The most recent rental proposal on our family property. A sea view house for 4 people on 2 fully air-conditioned floors. On the first floor, an open living space hosting the living room, the living room, the dining room and the fully equipped kitchen – fridge/freezer, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave oven. The bathroom (shower, sink, washing machine and separate toilet) and a bedroom with double bed (160 x 190).
A beautiful terrace with panoramic sea view furnished for meals and relaxation under the olive tree. Summer kitchen area: barbecue and sink.
On the lower floor a large bedroom with sleeping 2 people 160x190: 2 (80 x 190), dressing room and sanitary facilities (bath, shower and sink). Independent toilet.
Sea view in all rooms.
Orange Fiber Internet.
The swimming pool is accessible exclusively to all residents of the property.
A space for one car in the parking lot is at your disposal.

You will stay in peace and serenity and will have easy access to the most beautiful sites of Upper Corsica: the Cap Corse, its villages, its seascapes, its mountains, its wild sand, rock or pebble beaches and its American houses. You can easily get to the heart of Corsica by train or car: Corte and the Restonica, in Balagne: Ile Rousse, Calvi and the craftsmen's route or to the south: Solenzara, Porto Vecchio and Bonifacio.
Convenient access: Bastia port 5 km away, Bastia Poretta airport 15 km away.
The story:
We will be happy to welcome you to the Alivella. The oldest part of the house dates back about 400 years.
It is built on a rock. Its strategic location made it possible to monitor the sea and quickly see pirate ships. The inhabitants of the surrounding area then took refuge inside, well protected by the 1m50 thick walls! You can still make out the loopholes on the sea façade through which the villagers fired to defend themselves. It is believed that it is also from this time that the umbrella pine that dominates the property dates and is inventoried as one of the most beautiful in Corsica! More recently, the Alivella was part of a vast agricultural estate fed by a spring that produced fruit and vegetables for the Bastia market. However, the main activity of the estate was the cultivation of olive trees for their oil.
It is now a family property where it is good to live and relax in the countryside near the city center of Bastia.
Rental from Saturday to Saturday.
Arrival between 5 and 8 pm and departure before 10 am.
RESERVATION: Deposit: 25% upon reservation. Balance: upon handover of the keys.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: 1000 €.
LINEN NOT PROVIDED. Possibility of rental on reservation and for 20 € per person (sheets and towels).
MANDATORY END-OF-STAY CLEANING: 100€.
Swimming pool accessible from May to September.
April depending on the weather. Empty other months.
