Come relax in our fully restored coach house!
We offer a spacious, cozy 4-person apartment of approximately 80 m² where you can enjoy a garden right on the water.
The apartment is located on the first floor and features two bedrooms. While the “master bedroom” has a spacious double bed, the other bedroom lets you step back in time and sleep in a real box bed!
Our apartment also features a spacious living room with an open kitchen, equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, stovetop, combination oven, and all the necessary kitchen utensils.
In the cozy living room, you can relax by the wood-burning stove with a good book or a board game!
Our spacious bathroom is equipped with a shower and a rain shower.
You can enjoy the rural surroundings here all year round. The apartment is located along the Beemster Ring Canal, and without needing a car, you can go for walks and bike rides, swim, go birdwatching, or fish right from your apartment. In the spring, you’ll find fields of blooming bulbs near the coach house, and from the French doors of your apartment, you can hear and see the lambs roaming about.
In the summer, you can swim in the ring canal or enjoy the sun and tranquility from the garden.
Yet tourist destinations such as Amsterdam, Volendam, Edam, and Alkmaar are all within a half-hour drive.
In short, our Koetshuis is an ideal place for those who want to enjoy some peace and quiet, but it’s also a perfect location for exploring North Holland.

We were charmed by the property, its peace and quiet, the fine heritage furniture and artefacts, and the countryside around and accessibility to the main roads . If there had been a washing machine we would have used it.And the selection of pocket maps was very useful, thank you.PS - quite easy to get the train into Amsterdam too. Charles and Nichola

The accommodation was very well equipped and spotless. The hosts have beautifully restored an old part of the building and turned it into a very charming and comfortable place to stay. They were extremely friendly, and the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and the price was absolutely fair.

Easter eggs on the kitchen table and fresh flowers in every room when we arrived was a very nice personal touch. The kitchen equipment had more than everything you needed for making dinner and breakfast. The location is perfectly situated on the calming country side with lots of fresh air and tulip fields around. Emilia was very friendly and quick to reply to messages

We spent 5 days here to visit the Netherlands.
The home was just perfect for our stay: it was very clean and everything that you need is available. Emilia has welcomed us and she gave advice to park the car at Amsterdam (parking available and ferry!).
We appreciated the beds but some people might not like to sleep in a built-in bed (but we found this experience very funny).
The location is perfect to visit Amsterdam, Volendam, Marken, Edam, Zaanse Schans and Alkmaar.
No negative aspect - The home corresponds exactly to the description.
Maybe the house is a bit warm during the summer (but that was not the case during our stay).
