Five of our female family members, spanning three generations, stayed here recently over Labor Day weekend. We loved each having our own room. The master bath is especially nice, with the multilevel showers and sprays. The shower/bath in the dormer bedroom is not ideal, unless you are happy to just take a bath. We enjoyed the hot tub and the beautiful outdoor area immensely. The pool area is grand, with the water temp kept at 86. The house was clean and well provisioned. We cooked many meals there and found everything we needed. We had plenty of bath and pool towels. Brian greeted us and welcomed us, showing us some of the things around the house. We enjoyed the game room adjacent to the pool area and the Home theater down in the basement. All in all, we had a wonderful stay. We would definitely do it again! Thank you.

This property is WOW! Gorgeous as you pull up to the house and then wows you more upon entering the house itself. The heated indoor pool was a hit, along with the hot tub.The dining room table was large enough for all of us. Kitchen was very well stocked with modern appliances. Plenty of bathrooms! Game room was awesome and a hit with everybody.

Plenty of room for 9 of us. The indoor pool and game room were great. The game room being separated from the the bedrooms and other living space was good so the noise of karaoke did not disturb those watching tv. We were able to eat dinners together at the large table and play games. The hot tub and back porch area were very relaxing. We enjoyed the movie room the with protector screen was nice to wind down at night. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed here for several nights for a family getaway with kids and grandkids. Excellent experience! The house was clean and kitchen stocked with all the necessary items to prepare our meals. Lots of parking. The highlight was the pool for the grandkids along with the game room. The movie theater setup in the basement was wonderful. Brian was easy to work with. Easy access to Bloomington. I highly recommend and we certainly plan on returning!!

This place was perfect for our needs. We were celebrating my wifes 40th bday and had 5 IU alums in our group who wanted to spend time on campus. It is about 15 min away. The house has so much to do between the pool, hot tub, game rooms and movie theater! Theres also nice living areas and a patio to just sit and enjoy your company. Brian, the host, was also very great. The house, pool/hot tub, patio were clean and welcoming. Really no complaints. All of my guests were also impressed with the house and offered me many compliments for finding this .

Our stay at Brian's place was short but the property and all the amenities made it extra fun. We will definitely rent again, it is surrounded by beautiful trees and you can head all kind of birds. The pool being inside made it a lot better, property was so big and private.

WARNING: Anyone with small children, be sure pool is tested and shown to be at safe chlorine level before using. We enjoyed many features of this house but had a big problem with reactions to pool chemicals that were either too strong or not added far enough in advance of visit. All adults and children had respiratory irritation, watering eyes and sneezing in pool area, at first. Toddlers had coughing and wheezing for 24-48 hours after first swim. Reactions cleared up in 3-4 days, as chlorine dissipated. The owner tried to address, but was faced with his own medical issues and closed pool chemical suppliers. The hot tub was perfect. This property is under reconstruction, after damage from a fallen tree a few months ago. Very nice property owner is working hard to rebuild, but there were small unfinished items throughout and messy areas in side and back yards. Large front yard and patio area were very nice. Many excellent features include a wonderfully outfitted 2-story game room and movie room, gas grill and large, furnished patio, many bathrooms with excellent water pressure and hot water, 2 laundry areas, multiple large TV screens and luxury appliances in the kitchen (although the garbage disposall didn't work). So, if pool chlorine tests safe, this is a great place to stay right now if you are not fussy about some unfinished landscaping, woodwork, switchplates and the like, and promises to be excellent when all the work is done.

Five sisters/sister-in-laws spent a week at Brian’s house. Brian is an excellent host and was very responsive to our needs. The house is big, private, and beautifully decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are planning to return next year! Highly recommend!

We rented this house for a girls getaway from St. Louis. The house couldn't have been more perfect for us! I've probably rented 50 homes across the country over the past 30 years. I can honestly say that this was the most well stocked house I've ever stayed in. It was clean and loaded with things to do. There were beautiful golf courses nearby, the neighborhood was lovely, and a day trip to Nashville, IN was perfect for 6 ladies! Brian, the owner, couldn't have been nicer, and was quick to respond to communication. There was a problem with the lock box when we arrived. Brian returned my call within 2 minutes and immediately drove an hour to get there and get it taken care of as quickly as he could. Downtown Bloomington was minutes away and provided plenty to do while we waited. By the time we grabbed a bite to eat, the problem was resolved. Finally, the trees is the area were so colorful, it was incredible. If your looking for a place in the midwest to enjoy beautiful fall foliage, i would highly recommend staying here. Of course, it would be a great place to stay any time of the year! Thank you, Brian!

One of the few places that looks just like the picture. They had everything we needed to cook, plenty of towels for the pool. The decor and hospitality reminded me of a very nice hotel. We had some hiccups but the owner/manager was readily available and addressed all issues, as best he could. The communication and willingness to help was wonderful. And we were able to enjouy our stay. We will definitely look to book this place again.

4 Generations stayed for family vacation. We all really enjoyed the pool room. House was clean and has plenty of room. Spent one day at the Indianapolis Zoo which was well worth the 45 min drive. House feels very secluded but is very close to everything you need.

Our group enjoyed the game rooms, pool, hot tubs and outdoor space. Close location to restaurants and shopping but we spent almost all our time at the property. One of the best stocked rentals we have experienced (towels-bath and pool, kitchen essentials and gaming entertainment)!! Beds are comfortable and rooms are theme decorated. Separate spaces are quiet. In need of a good deep clean in a few spots and a few repairs but nothing unacceptable. Thanks Brian for your responsiveness the day of check in and an enjoyable property!

The house is setup very nicely. Nice size couch in the family room, large dining room table, a TV in every room & wifi throughout the house. Large heated indoor pool with a small 2 person hot tub indoors & large 5 person hot tub outside. I really enjoy relaxing in an outdoor hot tub in the winter. The garage has been converted into a game room with a pool table and other casino games with a space heater. Basement is it's own suite, bedroom & full bath with another pool table and arcade game with tons of old school games. Plenty of towels. Quick responses from the owner when asking questions. The master suite has a large bathroom with a large shower & it's own washer/dryer. A 2nd second washer/dryer is off the kitchen as well. In the winter it should be listed as a 4 bedroom/3 bathroom house, the 5th bedroom & 4th bathroom over the garage were unusable due to frozen pipes. Restaurants and grocery are all within 10 minutes of the house. Door Dash is available also. We had 8 people(2 families) the 4 bedrooms worked out ok. Would've been more convenient if there were bunk beds. Seems like a lot of groups stay at this house according to other reviews. Bunk beds make sleeping arrangements easier. We would stay here again.

The check in process was over all pretty quick. The other half of our party arrived a little earlier than we did and apparently the house was still being cleaned and met the owner (they believe it was the owner, his looked like the person in a picture on the wall inside) so you know it does get cleaned. The house offers a lot to do, maybe just a little too much. There were TV's in nearly every room, but we weren’t able to find a couple of the remotes. The upstairs bedroom really isn't usable yet. They're doing renovation in that area so some corner molding is missing, a switch plates is missing and insulation is pretty bad, that room is freezing. There is a space heater up there, do not turn it off. That bathroom also didn't have any hot water, the line is not connected. I mentioned that to the owner during our stay but they didn't respond to that. We moved to the basement room for the rest of the trip. The closet in the basement is a standalone cabinet, unfortunately the bottom is falling out of it. Mentioned to owner, they didn't respond to that part. The inversion table was a weird find, but really appreciated. The space heater in that room tripped the power bar while trying to warm the room up the first time and the power bar was in the back of fireplace housing so it was a little hassle to get to. Don't turn the heater all the way up, lesson learned. The pool was very nice. Vinyl inlay was in good shape and the water was clear and warm. There are numerous notes around the house to keep doors closed and not mess with the temperature in the room or the fans due to humidity, they are 100% on point. The doors, windows and skylights are taking abuse from all that condensation. The door to the back door was a little difficult to understand how to lock; the note they have on there is useful so it only took a couple minutes to figure out how it works. Provided pool noodles and goggles, thanks! The kitchen has tons of plates, cups, bowls and kitchen utensils for cooking and entertaining. The dishwasher wasn't fully installed (pulled out into the kitchen a couple of inches, obviously not actually mounted) and the note in the "Quirks about the House" notebook says it only works on a one-hour delay. Not sure if that's an old note, it started fine for us. Running out of trash bags and paper towels may be a thing, was made to feel "messy" when we asked for more, there weren't spare rolls. Drove to Wal-Mart to buy ourselves. Overall a positive experience.

Very well maintained pool with gorgeous outdoor patio/hot tub! Also loved how much the kitchen had in terms of utensils, tools, pots, and pans! Basic house supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, etc were low which made it tricky for us to make meals. Required another trip to the store for us for supplies that we’d expected to be included. Very lovely stay otherwise!

The property is nice overall. The backyard is great, with a nice table and seating area. Loved the hot tubs, and the kids enjoyed the pool a great deal. The upstairs bedroom is a little strange as you have to go through the attic to get to it, but it was perfect for a family vacation.

Everything was amazing! The pool was perfect, our 2.5 year old absolutely loved it and all us adults enjoyed it as well. The housewas in close proximity to Bloomington and only a short drive to Nashville and brown county state park. This home was a perfect place for our family of ten people ranging in ages from 5 to 69. The home was clean and comfortable and well-stocked. We enjoyed the pool table and games, but the highlight was clearly the pool. When you add in the sauna and two hot tubs, one inside and one outside, you really didn’t have to leave the home. Brian was helpful and quick to respond to any questions. We definitely had a great stay and would love to return as this place certainly surpassed our expectations!
