Villa Santa Chiara

Loved this beautiful family run Villa! Mario, Anna and Claudia met us on arrival. I was in contact with Mario the whole time, so it was easy to find. Mario walked us through the property and then our apartment. It was me, my husband our daughter and her fiancée who stayed. The bedrooms are upstairs so make sure you can manage. The boys carried our luggage up and down , so it was okay 👍 We stayed 5 nights here and the rooms and bathrooms were spacious. The kitchen a little small but had a wonderful outdoor area which we made use of! Only a 15 to 20 minute walk into the old town, but beware it is up hill and steep (worth it)! The little botega down the road have the most amazing home made foods! A must try! We had a car so was easy to park there and the train station was only a 10 min drive with all day parking for 2 euro a day! 😀 We loved having the friendly cats hang around and the washing machine was helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We would definitely recommend and definitely come back here in the future!

Nothing just that the kitchen was small. But not a hassle ☺️

The Villa was stylish and comfortable with all the space and facilities we needed . We could be in the campo in 25 minutes ( walking slowly) .

The path in has a short steep section but then is easier.

Die Villa ist unglaublich schön, die Wohnung sehr gut ausgestattet und der Blick auf Siena und das toskanische Umland atemberaubend. Der Garten ist traumhaft und die ganze Anlage ist sehr gut gepflegt.

An der Anlage gibt es nichts auszusetzen.

20 minute walk from Centre of Siena, many restaurants and bars to choose from. View from the pool was lovely.

I didn’t think the accommodation was great value for money, although appreciate the proximity to Siena and the pool would increase the price.
