Velika planina Chalet SLOVENKA

Slovenka is a lovely cottage that really left us with a smile :-). Its location is fantastic—right next to the gondola station (with a snack bar) and the chairlift that takes you further up the mountain. From the cottage it is about a 30-minute walk to the top. Communication with the owner was excellent, both before our arrival and throughout our stay. We received a very warm welcome from Mrs Barbara, who was absolutely lovely. They kindly arranged our breakfast reservation as well. The cottage itself is cosy, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The kitchen has everything you need, and there is also a small minibar available at a very reasonable extra cost. The sauna was a wonderful bonus, especially on the cooler evenings. We also greatly appreciated the flexibility with our check-out time, which allowed us to make the most of a beautiful sunny day on the mountain. A charming and comfortable place in a perfect location—we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Trovare la struttura è stato semplicissimo perché ci ha letteralmente accompagnato la signora BARBARA, persona eccezionale e gentile, che si è preoccupata di tutto. Ci ha aspettato giù alla funivia e ci ha dato tutte le informazioni necessarie. La strutture è vicinissima alla seggiovia per raggiungere la valle E' PERFETTA

NULLA, Unica cosa che raccomando è di portarsi da mangiare perché tutte le strutture di ristorazione chiudono alle 17.00 e ce ne sono di poche, e conviene munirsi di cibo (anche carne qualora) perché la casa ha letteralmente tutto, compreso di barbecue, legna e cucina, sdraio e spazio attorno.

I was impressed by the warm welcome and the quick responses to my questions, but the accommodation is not suitable for winter stays as there is no heater in the bedroom.
