This is a BNB rather than a hotel. Getting in was easy, and the rooms were very nice. The property is located right in the middle of St Andrew's - so overall very good. We visited 9 hotels/BNBs in our Scotland trip. I rated this one 5th out of the 9 - the others were all hotels and more expensive.
The only thing that wasn't great was the lack of instructions. We had to find a phone number to work out where the cutlery was kept. It took ages to work out how to work the oven - the previous occupant had activated a child lock apparently, and we couldn't work out how to open/lock the door to the little garden. Small things that took up some of our time that could easily have been addressed with a few instructions.

All the windows are so difficult to open - although beautiful. Maybe you could investigate and easier option here.

The apartment was beautifully decorated, clean,well stocked and in a fabulous location for walking to all the bars and restaurants. I loved the garden space too.
The check out time of 10am meant we didnt really get to spend anytime leisurely getting ready or enjoying the sun in the garden.
