Nice, clean and comfortable apartment

We had the apartment 4, upstairs with a small balcony. The apartment had a good location in a silent street. It was easy to check in with the codes we got online. The bedsheets and towels were clean, the bed and couch were comfortable. For three people for two nights it was big enough, for a longer stay is it proper rather for a couple.

The sliding bathroom door can't be closed properly.

Great property, but could be better maintained

We loved the patio and the location of the property. Great aesthetics. Super convenient area for great restaurants. There’s also a Lidl very close by to grab stuff.

The pool could’ve been better maintained. We found 1 of 3 lightbulbs were out, the blinds in the 1 bedroom weren’t working, and some of the places could’ve been cleaned way better. It was said to be a sofa bed, but it was just a huge sofa. Also, there’s only 1 air con in the living room so the bedroom got hot.

We really enjoyed the loft and we highly recommend it

We visited Valencia in April 2025 and stayed at the Loft. The host is very friendly and accommodating. The loft is very well furnished and has very clean interiors with a lot of character. The washing machine is also easy to use. The neighbourhood is nice and peaceful though finding parking can be difficult. Overall, we really enjoyed the loft and we highly recommend it.

Exceptional

The owner maximize the use of the room, even though its not big but we have everything we need for a family of 4 with a cheap price. The digital locker feel very safe, the room smells good n have a small pool, we enjoyed a free cup of coffee in the morning before walking to nearly market. Kitchenwares are more than enough to cook . We will comeback again if we ever miss Valencia.

There is 200 euro deposit fee that required to pay via Bizum or Paypal, since its my first time using Bizum I was a bit nervous 😆.

Nice and clean space, great location as you are in the middle of what is worth to see and doo.

The place itself is really good. It has multiple comfort things, everything a couple/small family might need for 2-4 days of stay. Really clean and comfortable bed. The check in was not a great experience for us, it took us a lot of effort to agree how the deposit will be paid with the host. We received the check in codes for the doors just when we got into the plane, without being sure everything is fine and we will have a place to stay. As this is a house and the host is renting other apartments in the building, it might be noisy due to the neighbours and the buzzers on the door, but that is not a fault of the host so i won't blame her for that. Would recommend a better and faster communication between the host and the guests.

I got a good deal for the night so thankfully price was low - think about 70euro. Had that not been the case Id have massively disappointed as actually apartment bears almost no resemblance to the vibe, feel or images on the site and there are a number of important issues with the property - not least of all, the host!

***WATCH OUT**** for these things: 200 EURO CASH DEPOSIT DEMANDED BEFORE ALLOWED ACCESS: Having booked and paid upfront I let host know what time I'd be arriving. In response received a very aggressive and irritated call from her telling me she did not want me coming to the property until I'd deposited a further 200euro in her paypal account as deposit. Given I was staying for ONE night, was on my own and am a 53 year old woman - Im not sure what risk could possibly justify this and it is an extortionate and HIGHLY unusual request from a property - but she had me over a barrel. Not until she saw the deposit transfer had gone through. was I allowed access. ACCESS I literally could not get my standard size suitcase up the spiral staircase. When I told host this and asked if someone could help me, she refused. End of story. In the end, I had to leave it on the open public balcony a floor below for the night and go up and down to get what I needed!!! FANTASY VERSUS REALITY The apartment is fine. It is functional at best. Depressing at worst. The property represented in the photographs in no way represents the reality. It is a bare, uncomfortable stuido room. The "pool" is 2 flights of spiral staircase plus a further two flights of stairs below at the bottom on an internal light well and shared by all flats. Probably useful in summer to keep cool but otherwise, grim and certainly not actually a feature of htis property. There are no 'nice touches' and the bedroom is like sleeping in a cell - literally. bed is mattress on floor. THE HOST Ive been at this for a very very long time and without question this woman was the most awful, rude and completely disinterested host I've ever come across. Her answer to the access issue was 'theres a photo on the site'. That was it. So unusual these days where private hosts are now small business people and generally are excellent, caring and will go the extra mile.

Nice studio located in between the old town and the City of Arts and Science.

The size of the apartment was ok and it had all the amenities. The location was ok for visiting both the old town and Ciudad de Arte y Sciencias, and even the beach, as there was a direct bus relatively nearby. Getting in the flat went very smoothly, and the owner seemed very nice and provided lots of information.

There was an unpleasant smell coming from the shower. The pool was cold and small, but we visited in November. I imagine in the summer it could have been quite pleasant.

The location is great, many bus and tram stops close by and a supermarket in the same road. Also the communication with the host was good.

Could do with some maintenance

Ok location, don't try get a park close for a car however. Internet is very good. Close to shops etc.

No hot water for 2 days. According to a power cut? Should have at least been re reimbursed a bit as could not shower for 2 days out of a 3 night stay. Clock on wall do not work. Could hear the neighbours very easily. I don't like to leave bad reviews but place needs some updating / basic maintenance.
