Cozy, Affordable retreat

Pretty little cabin ,very quiet even with other cabins nearby. Conveniently located to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, without the crowds and traffic. Very clean. Comfy seating and beds

Bedrooms up very steep stairs while only bathroom downstairs. Even though pictures look like it is on the river , it is not, river is short walk away. Tub did not drain properly.

We loved the enclosed porch. I appreciated how well the cabin was stocked. Had no problem with the WI-fi or the TV.

The cast iron skillet had rust on it. Would have preferred a gas stove but the electric was clean ands worked well.

Good visit to the park, convenient location, but management needs to up their game.

Cabin had not been cleaned on our arrival and the HVAC did not work. Phoned the company and crews were sent, problems solved in 2 hours plus. Bed are upstairs while only bathroom is down--not mentioned in description in ads.

The screens on the porch were duct taped. It was not easy to find and according to the pictures it was on the water which it was not. It was extremely hot in the bedrooms upstairs it was comfortable downstairs though. The TV in one of the bedrooms would not work.

The perfect cabin experience, with all the amenities of home. Centrally located.

When I rent a cabin, in a rural area, I expect a few inconveniences, having had a multi-generations family-owned cabin for 34 years. That was not the case with River Dreaming. It was like staying at home. Wonderful kitchen (I was by myself, and visited in January, which is the off-season.) All the amenities. A larger family may want to bring more eating utensils, forks, spoons, knives. Otherwise, everything was plentiful. And, very clean. The views were wonderful. I bought bird seed and filled the feeders, and the birds put on a show for me the entire time. Because of the time of year, it was so peaceful at the cabin. I enjoyed time to read, write, and better television channels than at home. Wonderful leather movie theater-style recliners in the living area were heavenly. The bed was very comfortable. I only used one. Spacious rooms. Decor was charming throughout. Huge front screened porch. Outdoor firepit in front. Porch off the back, too. Plenty of hot water made for great showers. Linens were wonderful clean. Indoor fireplace, though I didn't use it. I did have a friend over once, and posted some photos on IG, everyone commented on how beautiful my cabin was. The whole interior finished in knotty pine. Townsend is a wonderful location, also. I made it to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts Trail, and Cade's Cove, in 3 days. Get up early in the morning and go to Cade's Cove, for best wildlife viewing, and least traffic. Save this trip for a sunny day, and be sure to stop at the water falls along the drive there. Stunning. If you're going to the Gatlinburg A & Crafts trail, in the off-season, during Covid, don't expect much to be open. I highly recommend Woodland Trails, for beautiful pottery. Jason is a character and we chatted for about 45 minutes. His wife and MIL are very talented artists. I extended my stay by one day, just a few minutes after I walked in the door. It was that nice. You will not be disappointed.

Once you are inside Little Arrow Resort, finding the place is confusing. The directions mention a bear statue, there are a couple of huge ones within the campground. Turn left and go PAST THE PRIVATE PROPERTY SIGN. It's on a loop, and there's a sign on the front of the cabin that says River Dreaming. I spent a half hour driving around the campground. The large field beyond the yard, does not belong to the cabin community. Do Not Cross. Other than that, wonderful all around.

There wasnt enough gas for the grill couldn’t grill out that was one of the reasons we stayed And the water didn’t stay hot long enough in the shower. But everything else was great.
