Star Bay Luxury

The staff was very friendly. It was very clean.

We liked its central location and the view from the terrace was really nice. We asked for a room on the upper floors to get a better view but if you do the same, bear in mind that there is no elevator. The room is OK but the photos are better than the actual place, which look simpler when you are in it. It's good that it has breakfast but it's between 08:30 - 09:30, so we couldn't make it. Actually, they serve breakfast at the small entrance, which feels kinda claustrophobic so maybe it was better that we were late and had to go out and look for a place in the open air. There are various nice cafés by the sea near the hotel.

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was below our expectations. Here are our reasons: We have informed the hotel about our arrival time during our reservation but when we got to the hotel at 19:00 as we previously stated, there was no one at the hotel reception desk. There were phone numbers on the counter so we dialed one of those numbers and the person on the phone asked us which hotel we were waiting at !!! I suppose they run various hotels without being actually there. We said we were at The Star Bay Luxury and then the person on the phone said he was coming in 2 minutes, which actually took him 15 minutes to arrive. So, we waited at the hotel reception all alone until he came and that wasn't a good start for us. We'd asked a room on the upper floors so that we could have a nice sea view. We actually had a great view but our room was on the top floor and instead of a balcony, there was a terrace that we had to share with the people staying in the next room because there was no divider at all. We didn't like that we had no privacy. And moreover, when we were out for dinner, the people staying next door had friends who came to visit them and they'd taken our chairs. We couldn't ask the chairs back and we couldn't enjoy our night at the terrace. We paid more for direct sea view from our balcony and we couldn't enjoy it at all. The room was OK but the bathroom wasn't comfortable and clean enough for us. There were hairs on the water closet and on the floor etc. And there is no shower cabin or a curtain and when you have a bath, the bathroom is all wet. After getting dressed, when you enter the bathroom with your shoes on, it all gets muddy. Also the water pressure on the shower changes form time to time while you are having a bath. And what was worse, I think the shower head was broken because when we turned on the water and took it on our hands, its cord fell off and we couldn't put it back.

location is close to town center, strong wi-fi, good breakfast, clean room.

although i’ve made half of the price in advance, the owner first sent one of the staff and then came to my room and asked the remaining half, as i would run without paying. Parking was not private, but on the street. Towels were hard as rock. expensive than it deserves.
