Facilities dated and not clean enough.

Great Beach Access We enjoyed our stay and found both positives and areas for improvement. The location was excellent—having direct access to the beach was very convenient. The beds, couch, and chair were all comfortable, making it easy to relax. The inclusion of a humidifier/air purifier was appreciated, especially since the unit had a bit of a stale air quality. It was also nice to have plenty of towels provided, which isn’t always the case with rentals. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for cooking. I could see this being a nice rental for someone with dogs.

Areas for Improvement There were a few issues during our stay. The oven control was broken—the temperature settings were reversed, and the oven wouldn’t shut off, which resulted in burned food. When I contacted the company, the suggested fix was to remove and rotate the knob, but the back of the knob was melted, making that difficult. The unit overall felt very dated, and not in a charming or nostalgic way. The patio door had broken seals, so the view was obscured. The fireplace instructions were hard to follow, relying on a worn-out paper that directed us to a website instead of providing clear, written steps. The TV stopped working on the second night due to a “no signal” issue. The bathtub was large, which was nice, but the faucet was positioned unusually high—more like a shower—so adjusting the temperature or turning it off required standing up. Lastly, the bathroom window didn’t feel very secure.
