Sanderling Sea Cottages, Unit 3 w/ Private Balcony

The unit was clean overall and the location was nice.

While unmaking the bed, prior to leaving the unit, used nicotine pouches were under the sheet and in one of the pillow cases. My wife and I don't use nicotine products so I'm assuming that's from a previous tenant. Knowing those were there makes me wonder if the sheets were washed between guests and that is really frustrating. Side note, my gps could not locate the address. Might just be my gps but that was a frustrating way to start the trip.

The unit is “central coast” dated. Comfortable cozy set up, minimal unit updates. The beds were firm for us but the view from the upstairs bedroom is amazing.

Downstairs heater broken. Didn’t heat the place. Front door didn’t want to lock. Took many tries to lock it. Back sliding door super difficult to open and close. These three things must be fixed. I love staying there though and definitely will again!

The location was awesome. The unit was clean and well stocked. The shower was real good.

We knew the unit had bedrooms upstairs, but the spiral staircase was difficult for us as we are 70. The sliding door was nearly impossible to open or close. A lamp shorted out when turned on and shocked my wife before it kicked the breaker. The downstairs toilet stopper would not seat at times causing the toilet to run. There are no working drain plugs in the kitchen sink making doing dishes difficult.
