Very cute cottage feel, a peaceful respite

It was perfectly cozy and secluded, a good break from local hotels and such. The owners were very welcoming and talked to us about the history of the area during breakfast, the kitchen had absolutely anything you could need, lots of board games to play and overall the decor and theming was so charming!

I wanted to pair my laptop to the tv but couldn’t. That was my only nitpick

Robert and Maria, the owners are so friendly and accommodating. They make you feel that it's a home from home. I opted for the Mountain View room and had a great stay there.

Hidden Gem

Beautiful!! We booked Wee Wilds last minute and it completely exceeded our expectations. Unfortunately we needed to travel to kingussie urgently and were initially just looking for somewhere to stay overnight but we would definitely plan a return trip to enjoy all wee wilds has to offer.

Great location, beautiful room with an amazing kitchen and also a couple of beautiful places where to chill in inside the house!

I was not in a hurry to check for 10 also because of the fogy weather (I'm a photographer) so I checked out bye 11 considering how much I paid for I was expecting a bit more of not a huge problem type of approach but it's ok perhaps is me!

Excellent stay at Glentruim homestay

My boyfriend and I had an excellent experience in this B&B that we highly recommend to everybody. The hosts Robert, Maria and Shei were very welcoming and lovely people to talk to. The room and ensuite bathroom were very cozy with a comfortable kimg size bef. The breakfast exceeded our expectations with a varied menu and the kitchen, which is very spacious and well fitted, was available to us in the evening to cook our dinner and have some rest after a long day outside.

The only inconvenient is that you need a car or taxi to get there

Surrounded by nature in the Cairngorms

This homestay is set in a wonderful countryside location, with views of gardens and chickens, and hungry red squirrels! We didn't make use of the shared living spaces but they looked amazing and there were plenty of places to chill without imposing on other guests or the hosts. We made use of the kitchen and had enough equipment to cook our dinner. Mary was a wonderful host, who took the time to show us around, and was willing to share aspects of her life, which was really insightful. Breakfast was simple but thoughtfully made, with overnight oats, fresh bread and jams. Honestly, for the price and location, it is definitely worth it!

Extremely disappointed and not worth £118 for the night including B&B

It was comfortable.

No mountain views from room as stated in options. Only trees and u kept garden. Door extremely hard to open in room. Elderly person would not be able to open and a fire risk. Slide lock on room door only. No emergency exit from room if owners or emergency services wish to get in. Water in shower very sparse and too hot in sink. No worming signs. Breakfast very poor and basis. Had to even toast own bread on Aga. No cooked breakfast offered. TV in room no instructions. Does not deserve high booking.com rating Probably 7.5 at best. Booking.com need to inspect this property.

Exceptional

My partner and I drove around Scotland for 3 days and stayed here on our 2nd night. It was the perfect place to unwind and relax before jetting off again. The hosts were warm, the other guests were very nice and personable, and the breakfast was perfect (hello homemade english muffins and overnight oats!). 100% would recommend, and we hope to have a reason to stay again.

Exceptional

We had an amazing stay at Glentruim Homestay, the only problem is that we only booked it for two nights, wish we haded for a week. The house is lovely. They have an amazing kitchen and an absolute adorable dog! The breakfast is simple but tasty with muffin bread ( it's not sweet ). Peaceful location, we highly recommend it!

A wonderful place to stay for anyone travelling in Scotland

Very nice welcome by one of the host Robert. Make you feel comfortable the moment you enter the house. The room was clean, the kitchen was nice and clean. The living room his wonderful and it’s a nice place to sip your tea or whisky while reading a book. The wifi is super fast and there’s Netflix + Amazon on the tv in the rooms. I highly recommand this place for anyone travelling in Scotland. Thank’s to Robert and Maria
