All in all we had a great time and highly recommend the house for a family vacation.
The house was perfect for a week of vacation with our family of 8 (all adults). We loved the spacious living/kitchen area and enjoyed the quality of the appliances. It is easy to cook/prepare meals. The outdoor and indoor tables as well as the sofa are large enough to fit everyone comfortably. Our two small-ish cars fit well in the parking area. We loved having the pool to cool off. The location of the house between fields and greeneries was quiet and lovely. The nearest beach and village can be easily reached with a sturdy 15-20 minute walk. There is ample literature in the house for things to do in the area.
Of the four bedrooms only two have air-condition - it would be great to have the comfort of AC for a good night's rest for all guests. The very lovely charm of an old farmhouse comes with aspects to be expected in a house in the countryside. Communication could improve at times when questions arise.

With an extended family of 10 incl. 3 young grandchildren we loved the space within the house and also the shaded large terrace outside to eat our meals together. The pool was a family highlight to share and have great fun. The house itself had so much character and all facilities made it a home from home. The beach and local cafes etc were only 5 minutes by car, or a 15 minute walk. Some of the family did morning runs towards the beach and along the promenade.
Departing, as it was a great place to stay.
